Monticello, Kentucky
Brand new deck just built!!
Adorable tiny house with a spectacular view of Otter Creek on Lake Cumberland. It is located in Monticello, Ky in a rural part of the area. It’s about 12 minutes to town. There is very close (driving distance) swimming access, kayaking, boating, boat ramps, fishing & marinas. Plus, your likely to see lots of wildlife. I have kayaks available for a small daily fee to rent. Pets are allowed! $50 fee.
It had a great view of the lake. Outdoor relaxing areas were nice. The cottage is small but we didn’t spend much time inside so it was fine for the 3 of us and a small dog. It had everything we needed. Would stay there again for sure!
The property was perfect with an amazing view. Holly was an exceptional host!
This adorable tiny house was perfect. The view is gorgeous, bed is comfortable, and outdoor space was super enjoyable. We were fortunate to have perfect weather for our stay, but I can’t imagine it wouldn’t have been a great experience no matter what. We will absolutely be back!
The cottage is very cute and comfortable. The view of the lake is amazing. We loved sitting out on either of the two patio/decks to relax, read and watch the sunset. Holly offered a lot of information about things to do in the area. We had a very relaxing, comfortable stay.
All was great but no good restaurants around... bring your own groceries to cook.
I loved staying here! The view is amazing, Holly was wonderful…I would come back!
Will definitely return for the beautiful, amazing peacefulness and beauty!
This property was absolutely perfect! The view is amazing, the cottage is clean and well taken care of. If I could live here, I would!
Very relaxing and low key- beautiful surroundings and great accommodations
Great view, clean and a wonderful host. Wish the weather would have been better to enjoy the outdoor fire place. Would recommend to anyone wanting a small piece of lake Cumberland with a good view.
I was unable to take this trip last minute due to my mom having a stroke a few days before. Holly was ver concerned and accommodating. She allowed my son and grandchildren to come in our place. She answered every question timely and showed genuine compassion for our situation. My son and grandchildren enjoyed the cabin and sent me so many beautiful pictures. I will hopefully get to visit this nice little cabin someday. Thanks Holly for your kindness!
This tiny house has the most beautiful view of lake Cumberland. Has all the amenities you would need to be comfortable. So peaceful and quiet at night, great place for star gazing. Thanks for letting us enjoy your little piece of solitude, it was exactly what we needed.
Wonderful views. Relaxing with breathtaking views.
Beautiful setting. I stayed in October while the leaves were changing and this location was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the spectacular view. I felt like the owner had gone above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming environment.
Good experience :)
Owner is very prompt on messaging back or if needing anything. Very clean and peaceful country setting with beautiful Lake Cumberland. 30 minutes to Conley Bottom Resort marina.
We enjoyed our stay but would have been nice to know there was microwave & toaster over; we could have brought better food with us if we had known.
If you are looking for a place to truly relax, you are in for a treat. The cabin has everything you need, and takes much of the stress and worry away from the world. I felt the small size made it even easier for me to relax and unwind because there was so little to maintain. The view is wonderful, the patios are awesome, and the location is centralized to a number of activities and access points. We enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and fires each night. Holly was a great host and was super accessible in helping us identify key points to visit on our trip. I would love to come back here again!
Adorable and just perfect for 2
This tiny house was big on all the things that we wanted in a vacation accommodation. It had two great decks with views of the lake w comfortable chairs, privacy and quiet, a campfire ring with dry split wood, all the key necessities for cooking meals in (grill, fridge, coffee pot), and a comfy living space with shower and toilet. And I recommend renting the kayaks—we transported them to Twyford Point and paddled to two fabulous waterfalls. It was a signature moment of the trip, made possible by the easy accommodations and optional features of this thoughtful host. Definitely recommend it!
