The Yoder’s on Somerset: Sleeps 1-6.

This was a perfect property for an overnight girls trip. The owners were wonderful and provided great communication. The apartment was exactly as in the pictures and description. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio and listening to the fountain across the street. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. We loved the cinnamon bread and basket of snacks provided! We already talked about staying here again next year. Thank you!

Very cozy place that felt like it’s own little home. owners thought of little details like coffee, tea and light snacks, which were great given our location and limited access to grocery/convenience store when arriving to an Amish community after hours.

The Yoder’s home was warm and comfortable. The coffee/hot chocolate bar was perfect for our winter stay!

The property was exactly how promoted and in a good location. Owners provided plenty of extras and were exceptionally responsive to us from the time we renter the space, and throughout our stay. This space is was just perfect for a few days in Ohio's Amish Country. Location, amenities, and some of the most thoughtful hosts. It truly made out trip so special. We are planning to book again for next year.

This was our annual mother daughter getaway. We throughly enjoyed our stay here. The apartment had everything we needed and more. Very relaxing and close to town for all of our shopping. I highly recommend staying at the Yoders home!!

The Yoder’s home was perfect. It had many extra amenities that helped us feel so at home. They were helpful and answered any questions we had immediately. We have found our Berlin home for future visits. Can’t wait to come back.

As always Carol and James went above and beyond to make our stay truly perfect. The apartment was clean and cozy as always, stocked with plenty of water for coffee, sweet and salty snacks, and a few extras to make our days special. We had a small plumbing concern during our trip and James was checking the sink and organizing repair within minutes of us contacting him on our way out for the day. By the time we came back that evening everything was fixed, tidied, and just as we had left it. We look forward to our trip up to Amish Country every year and our relaxing days in this home away from home. See you in the spring!

Laundry set up was great and convenient just out our kitchen door. The kitchen dining and living space is roomy and beautifully decorated. We were two friends staying so it was nice to have the two separate bedrooms. The hosts were extremely helpful at answering many and all our questions about things to do and where to shop.

The living and dining area were comfortable and great for a family get together.

Lovely home! Easy to book, great interactions and fast replies from the hosts. There are no steps at all, you can pull right up to the door, unload and park in a designated spot by the house. Lots of extras- a loaf of baked bread, variety of coffees and snacks, detailed instructions for the use of tv's and air conditioning/heat. It felt like coming home in the evenings!

Everything was as it is advertised on their page. No surprises, we’ll except for the bread & snacks!! A lot of nice special touches. Loved having so much space and a relaxing atmosphere to come back to after our adventures of the day!

We had the most wonderful time staying at the Yoder's on Somerset. It was immaculate and so very inviting. There is not one single thing I would change about this place. Convenient to Berlin, (just 3 minutes up the road) and so peaceful. My mom and I sat on the patio and just talked about family and reminiscing about our lives. It's the first time we took a trip like this and the Yoder's made it so very perfect. Do not hesitate to book this sweet place. You will have zero regrets about staying here. We will be back!!!

It was 1/2 block from Main Street in Berlin - close to all the quilt shops we were participating in for Ohio Shop Hop. Could walk to downtown - the hometown restaurants were awesome (however, we fixed several meals ourselves, in their fully equipped kitchen) - AND it was quiet! It was so clean and felt like an apartment - you will love staying here - hope you give it a try.

This property was a great place to spend a long weekend. The owners are very easy to communicate with and provided lots of sweet snacks to make our stay more enjoyable. It was a quite location just off the main road in Berlin on a very busy Labor Day weekend.

Yoder’s on Somerset was the perfect place for our getaway with our grandsons … we only wish we could have stayed longer. The property was comfortable, impeccable, and the owners added sweet little details to make our stay special. (Boys loved the ice pops!) They also gave us suggestions about places the boys might enjoy visiting, with Hershbergers being a huge hit! The boys are already talking of returning with us … the best review ever in my opinion! Thank you for all you did, and offered at your place, to help us make memories. We’ll be back!

Very nice apartment. They had snacks for us, coffee and water. The parking is close. It was very clean. Comfortable bed. Also very convenient to have a washer and dryer. The kitchen had everything that you could need. We enjoyed our stay. Also a large TV.

Excellent property with play set for children. Central to much of what one goes to Amish Country to enjoy! Very nice unit with lovely view of pond/fountain across the street. Open floor plan with updated counters. Nice kitchen area with ample space. Great coffeebar and snacks for guests!

Two friends and myself decided to spend a weekend together to do a little shopping and a lot of catching up. We stayed at rhis lovely place in Berlin The Hosts were very helpful and the whole process very easy. The unit was very pretty, clean and cool (which was great considering it was in the 90s outside. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan on booking here again

The place was wonderful to stay at.

We live in a more rural area but this spot was more quiet a block from town. Family totally loved it immediately. Overall a simple, fair priced, comfy and convenient location. 2 thumbs up.Oh for a corny dad like myself the process of using a VCR with our minions was memorable.

The touches of hospitality were greatly appreciated. We loved reading about the history of the family and seeing the family heirlooms around the house. We enjoyed sitting outside, playing in the yard, and the location. This was exactly what we were looking for, and we plan to book here again!

Our stay was very nice. Close to Berlin but far enough you could enjoy a little bit of country. The Yoders were very accommodating and excellent hosts. We had everything we needed.

This was a super clean and nice, no stair entry, place to stay barely off Berlin’s main drag. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Would definitely stay here again. No complaints. Highly recommend.

This home was perfect for us. It met all of our expectations and then some. The Yoder's answered any questions we had, contacted us prior to check in and the day of check in. The coffee/tea bar was an added treat with unexpected treats that made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this home to anyone.

We had a wonderful visit, thanks to the hospitality of this amazing couple. We were in walking distance to the town center, but also spent a lot of time at the homestead. We had everything we needed, and then some. We will be staying again, and highly recommend!

Our stay was very nice. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and carefree. The rental is very nice and had everything we needed. If you wanted to make something to eat the full kitchen was well stocked with the basics. The beds were comfortable and the little extras they provided were very thoughtful. I would recommend.

I took Mom to Amish country to celebrate her 83rd birthday. The Yoder's place was the perfect place for us to stay. It was so close to everything we probably could have walked, if it would have been warmer. We loved how the place was decorated and the fresh bread they left us was a wonderful and delicious treat. Would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it.

We could not be more pleased with our latest stay with the Yoders! As always, James and Carol welcomed us with lovely snacks and fresh bread from Kauffman's bakery and went above and beyond to make this home away from home extra special. This is our fourth or fifth stay at the apartment and we look forward to relaxing and peacefully recharging during our yearly trips to Holmes County. Our family has been visiting the area for over twenty years and we have not found a cozier, more welcoming stay than with the Yoders. We cannot wait to come back next year!

Very near downtown Berlin , yet far enough away to be very peaceful. The host was the greatest, checking with us during our entire stay to see if there was anything we needed, if they could do anything to make our stay just as comfortable as possible. Just can’t say enough about the host.

Great location, easily accessible to places we wanted to visit. All of us are elderly so not having stairs to climb was a must. Spacious property. We cooked, visited

We had a great time exploring Amish country. Our house had everything we needed and was close to shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay with the Yoders on our return trip.
