The StarFish - 2bdr/one bath, ocean view

I liked the place, those carpets I think should just go tho, they slip and slide to easily and the wood floors look nice without the carpets. Over all it was a nice place to stay, thank you for hosting us.

When I arrived at the property the lock was not working, battery died. This can happen with these kid of locks and I was patient and understanding of this issue. The host did send a lovely lady in the neighborhood to help.that helps with the property in the hosts absence. After a while we gained access. Plugs were overloaded with extension cords which I found concerning, The place was clean for the most part. Pillows had stains on the pillow covers. ( I did not use the provided pillows) Extra parking was offered kindly and then last minute rental of downstairs property happened without notice from host. Needed to move car, which was ok but communication of this would have been helpful. This property is probably supposed to be a one family rental as the upstairs can be accessed at any time from the downstairs renters when you are out. There is an outside door that you can lock however the downstairs rental can just open their door inside and walk upstairs into your unit. Loved the sweet lady that lives in the house near by and Katie who was on site and was warm and welcoming. She went above and beyond when the 2 bedrooms had no screens and no AC's. She was there to wait with me as we waited to gain access inside on arrival. Katie and the neighbor were delightful. Overall, this is not a place I would stay again.

Place was disgusting, had to be cleaned when we got there. Nothing vacuumed, dusted, paint peeling from walls. Front door wouldn't lock, shower door wouldn't close if you call it a shower. Not all beds provided like in pictures, no kitchen stove, broken appliances, dryer doesn't work. Hassled from neighbors over what parking spot we even had. Took pictures of everything, wish I could post them. Never will stay here again or recommenx to anyone.
