Sarasota, Florida
Directly overlooking the Gulf of Mexico at the North end of Siesta, this 3 bedroom 2 bath unit sleeps 8, and is literally steps to the beach and only a block to Siesta Village with shops, restaurants, and bars. Come sit under the Sea Grape trees with a glass of wine and enjoy our world renowned sunsets by the fire pit or in your own private seating area. Our favorite is a reading our favorite book in the hammocks with the wonderful gulf breeze.
The management team was very responsive as I called on them almost every day. They were timely in responding and attending to the issue. We had a nice time and could have had a better time without the toilet needing a fix, without bugs. The location is fantastic, people are nice. Definitely a family vacation tradition.
Pros: The location cannot be beat. Private patios and grills for each unit are awesome. Siesta key beach has softest sand ever! Quaint house - I appreciate the history of the house. We stayed downstairs in original house (Turtle) and love the old pictures that give vibe of old Sarasota. Cons: The big downside was that queen beds were covered with horrible plastic protectors and mattress too soft - so while it was quaint and location cannot be beat, I would not return. I wound up sleeping on the twin beds that make up the sofa. The bed linens are basic and no extra blankets anywhere. (Heater works fine) Also note no dishwasher - no biggie for the three of us but was kinda surprised. Having stayed at many rentals on Texas coast, the beds have always been much better and do not have crinkly plastic protectors. The linens and blankets have been much nicer too.
Beautiful, charming and clean 3 bedroom unit right on the beach and walking distance to Siesta Key village.
We stayed in the Sea Turtle unit and it was wonderful for us. We had 4 adults and 3 kids with us for our 3 night stay. It’s a cozy, clean unit with plenty of space. It had everything we needed to cook meals and make pina colodas. Sea Turtle has its own patio with a direct view of the beach, an outdoor dining table, seating area, and grill. The view of the beach and ocean is stunning and it’s right there in your backyard. There are no streets to cross. You are literally on the beach. The sand is soft as sugar and the ocean was clear blue. We walked to Siesta Key Village for lunch and shopping. There’s also a small grocery store within walking distance. This was truly a wonderful, relaxing and unforgettable place to stay.
The Sea turtle was a wonderful place for our mother daughter trip. We enjoyed the beautiful views and the patio with our morning cup of coffee and watching sunsets in the evening. Would recommend Sea Turtle for your next Siesta Key stay
It would be helpful to know that this is connected to other rentals
Paradise!!
Great location - directly on the beach, walk out and you are there. Plenty of outdoor seating including dining tables and chairs, relaxing couches and chairs. Multiple outdoor grilling locations. It’s a quaint converted older home so if you’re looking for new this is not your place. Our unit did not have a dishwasher (Sea Turtle). Short walk to town for coffee, diniing, or dessert.
This place truly was a great experience. My family and I enjoyed every moment of this uniquely located beachfront. Not only walking distance from the beach but also from Siesta key village. Will be definitely visiting again. Highly recommended for beach lovers.
Beautiful beachfront property within walking distance to the village. Very well maintained and management is easy to reach quick to respond. Plenty of towels and beach chairs. Booked our next trip before we left!
