The Space:

The Roman Penthouse is a spacious penthouse in the Kralendijk neighborhood, in the Hausmann Follies building, offering beautiful sea views and a living area of 250 m². Van den Tweel supermarket is 1.5 kilometers away, Chachacha Beach 170 meters, restaurant At Sea 100 meters and Dive Friends Chachacha dive center 170 meters. The penthouse is located on the fourth floor in American floor counting. Guests have access to a shared regular swimming pool, located on the pool deck and surrounded by the communal garden.





Guest Access:

As a guest of The Roman Penthouse, you have access to the entire penthouse with its three bedrooms, three bathrooms, open kitchen, living room, balcony, and the shared outdoor areas such as the communal garden and pool deck with the swimming pool. You can freely use all described facilities during your stay. To welcome our guests warmly and explain the accommodation and our beautiful island, we personally host all arrivals. The Sunwise hosts of the property will arrange the details of your check-in with you.





The Neighborhood:

Kralendijk center with its boulevard, piers, sailboats and motorboats on moorings, and colorful facades: here you’re right between restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure points for various boat trips, including sunset tours and the water taxis to Klein Bonaire. It’s ideal if you want everything within walking distance and love evening strolls along the waterfront. For divers and snorkelers, Playa is a great base with quick access to west coast sites; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect vibrancy, convenience and the shortest travel times to the main town’s amenities.





Getting Around:

The Roman Penthouse in Kralendijk is best enjoyed with a rental car, as Bonaire has so much more to offer than just the immediate surroundings. With your own vehicle, you can explore the entire island at your own pace, from remote snorkel spots to local eateries. We therefore recommend renting a car. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas such as Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough. There is no public transport and taxis are limited, especially on busy cruise days.

Check-in is from 3PM and check-out by 10AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other bookings. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations, and we kindly ask you to keep noise down in the evenings. Enjoy your stay at The Roman Penthouse!
