The Landing Pad Loaded 1 Bedroom Apartment!

I wasn’t sure what to expect since I didn’t know the area. There is a LOT of homeless people in anchorage but I didn’t see any around the VRBO we stayed in. It was extremely quiet and I wasn’t worried about my vehicle (especially since they have cameras pointing at the parking lot and around the building). I appreciated being able to cook and do laundry for our son who is stationed at JBER. Would I stay here again, absolutely. We didn’t have any issues (thank goodness). Trina

The landing pad was a really unique place to stay. The theme of airplanes was very much enjoyed, as well as the board games and the snacks. It was a special touch to have it so clean with the washer and dryer and even adding brand new toothbrushes and make up remover‘s was small, but it really showed. You guys went the extra mile. When communicating Sarah and Nic were very prompt and helpful.

Host easy to contact and responded promptly to all queries. Apartment clean and convenient for all activities. Quiet neighbourhood which was nice.

Nice comfortable apartment with all the amenities. The host even included coffee, tea and snacks along with information on local sightseeing.

Very nice and clean. The only trouble I had was not having the pass code for the door that leads into the apartment. I called the owner, and he called me back within 20 minutes with the pass code and I was able to enter without any other problems. I traveled with a friend, and he slept on the pull-out with no complaints.

Great stop during my business travels!

Everything that was needed was provided. Home is well provisioned with what is needed for meal prep. I stayed on two separate occasions during my time in Alaska.

The 'Landing Pad' worked out well for us! Its central location near Merrill Field was ideal for excursions in all directions. Everything was exactly as advertised. The Air Conditioner (in BR) was a pleasant surprise and worked well... Nick was a superb host!

Very clean, lots of extras included, good communication. Very nice place to stay! Not being from the area, I thought we would be able to walk to restaurants and trails but driving was not bad.

Very nicely appointed unit in a location that was centrally located for our visit. It was spotless and welcoming and had everything we could have needed. Having the luxury of a washer and dryer was definitely a bonus! Although it is located next to a small yet fairly busy airport, we were never bothered by what one might consider “airport noise”. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our Alaska vacation even better!

Absolutely perfect place and hosts! So clean and well appointed with ease of access and close proximity to my daughter's on campus apartment and her classes at the airport. adorable aviation theme and super comfy accomodations! We will be back for sure!

15 minutes from most places in town. Convenient, clean, friendly, accommodating. The only area of improvement would be WIFI speed and stability. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was of a great class. It felt like a home. Very well maintained and great interiors, bathroom, living room, kitchen and bedroom. Me and my wife liked our stay

The VERBO unit was great the VERBO App was totally useless in Alaska at all the units we started in. Could not communicate with the hosts. Very frustrating!!

Enjoyed our short stay. Communication was excellent. Great directions and information. Loved the aviation theme! Comfortable bed, glad there were blackout curtains. All the little amenities were greatly appreciated. Lots of thought has been put into this great pad. We'd stay here again.

We stayed for a couple of nights here at the end of our Alaska trip. This place was conveniently located and was just what we needed! The blackout curtains worked perfectly for a good night's rest! I'd stay here again if we come back through Anchorage.

Great hosts. Could not be better. Unit had everything needed. We stayed 3 nights. 10 min flat walk to supermarket for groceries.

Host was easy to communicate with, answered lots of questions and it was in an easy to access location. Clean and friendly.

This was a great place to stay. Very clean. The place isn’t super fancy, but the owners had several little touches that we appreciated (nice soap/shampoo, games, books, snacks, coffee, and even an umbrella available for us to use). The blackout blinds were great in the bedroom, which is a must this time of year in Alaska. The neighborhood was quiet. I do recommend having a rental car, since there’s not much to do within walking distance, but it’s a very short drive to the airport or to downtown.
