The Heart of the Village

Had a wonderful stay in Northport for the weekend! The host was very accommodating and made sure our stay was great. This is right in the middle of town, making it the perfect place to stay for hopping around to different shops, restaurants, or bakeries!

Karen was a very gracious host. We enjoyed our stay and the studio was clean and spacious. Snacks, water and coffee were provided and were appreciated. We have already recommended her place.

The location right in the center of town was awesome. Very close to the bay.

This roomy studio apartment was clean and comfortable, with views of backyard greenery, which made us feel at home in the woods even though it is located steps away from the business district and shoreline. Our lovely hostess made checking in a breeze and was easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We would book this place again in a heartbeat.

Karen was a WONDERFUL host. She was so kind and attentive, and gave great recs to places around the area. The space was so nice and clean, and came with snacks which was so sweet. We absolutely loved the space and the area, we will be back!!

Beautifully laid out studio apartment with thoughtful provisions, privacy and easy access. Love the location for walk to beach, lake and stores. Host was accessible but not invasive to privacy. We look forward to another chance to visit Northport and this property.

We came for a wedding at Verterra and this was super convenient. Everything was in walking distance. Host was very nice and we had everything we needed for a great stay.

Karen's place is absolutely spotless and very comfortable for 2 people. She includes lots of great touches like snacks upon arrival and also some beach towels and chairs to use during your stay. We have stayed there twice so far and are very comfortable. I'd highly recommend!

Karen was responsive and accomodating. Cottage in the heart of downtown Northport. Perfect location to walk to everything. Not fancy, but immaculate, quiet, and with nice accoutrements. Bed very comfortable with cotton sheets— not microfiber (yuck). We will return

This is our second time staying here. Spotless, excellent location, very short walk to the beach, good food nearby and reasonable drive to other attractive locations to spend a day. Probably not our last time here. Love it.

Our host was really wonderful! She was very communicative both before and during our stay. She gave us some great recommendations for local hiking and the best places to watch sunsets, sunrises and to view the stars.

The rental was spotless, private, and within immediate walking distance of absolutely everything in Northport, including a grocery store, cafes, and restaurants. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts of water, snacks, etc. The host did a great job providing everything you might need without any unnecessary clutter. What a gem!

Very nice and comfortable place to stay. The extra touches (snacks, soaps, shampoo, etc.) were appreciated. Also appreciated possible early check-in and delayed check-out time. Missed having a TV especially in the morning. It's a bit of a walk from the street to the apartment but not unexpected, and path was well-lit. Owner was very helpful and offered information on activities and businesses in town and the area. I would happily stay here again.

Karen was a great host! We enjoyed being able to walk to all of the local stores, coffee shop, and restaurants. The Traverse City Lighthouse and Fishtown are only 15 minutes away. Lots of great hiking trails with 15 minutes as well. The VRBO is a large studio unit. As advertised, there is no TV or stove. We would definitely recommend if these are not necessities for you!

I enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean and quiet. The snacks and book a gift were a nice touch. I'd recommend this property to others.
