What a wonderful stay we had at the Empty Nest. The entrance way was very whimsical. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Almost everything was great. Suggest you dust the ceilings and clean the ceiling fans, everything up high. The rest was really lovely.

we had a great stay. Did not meet the host. Everything was clean and just as we expected. We were very happy about the bike trail being so close. It was a wonderful get away. Hope to return. We did not use the pool. Did not know about it til we arrived.

Great place to stay

Rachel was responsive and easy to get hold of, when I discovered there were no hangers in the closet she brought some over promptly. I did have to get a new coffee maker, the one in the unit was pretty crusty and needed cleaning, and since there's no kitchen sink or any method to clean it I just picked one up at Target. The bed was comfy but a little thin, could use a new one. Heating and AC worked fine. The place is a little hard to find, but use your GPS and you'll get there.

Highly recommend booking a stay here! Super cute and very thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Easy access to the bike path is also a huge plus, perfect to go on a run or get into town without worrying about parking.

We attended a wedding at the a high end hotel, just 15 minutes away, but didn’t want to pay the high price for a room there. We found this Airbnb, and it was the perfect choice for our needs. The space was cozy and well-equipped with snacks, drinks, and reliable Wi-Fi. It offered everything we needed for a comfortable and convenient stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great option for a quick trip!

Overall I was satisfied with the accommodations. The hosts were very attentive and responded quickly to any inquiries. We were only in town one night and it met our needs for a short stay. There were a couple things I’d suggest to help improve the listing. The listing said there was a chair that converts to a bed. There was not. The host did notify me before arrival, so we weren’t surprised. But the listing should be updated for clarity. You are staying on property with your host. We knew this going in so no surprise but the walls seemed very thin. We could hear the hosts conversation like they were in the same room. That was a little weird for us as we didn’t really feel as though we could talk freely. A little more attention to detail on cleaning would be helpful. I wouldn’t say it was overly dirty but there were a couple things like the ceiling fans that were visibly dirty and could have used a wipe down. I would use this space again as the hosts seemed kind and attentive and so most of these comments are just to help improve the listing.

I have never rented a VRBO before and I just randomly picked this place knowing nothing about Sarasota. We came here just to meet up with our cousin who we hadn’t seen in 50 years. This place was perfect so sweet very quiet lovely little yard perfect size we couldn’t have wanted much more. We felt very safe and comfortable here.
