    The property was ideal in many respects for our stay. It is well positioned near the Forum and about a half hour walk into Funchal. It is a large apartment with good facilities and the pool was an added bonus. The only slight drawback was that the balcony was very small - not suitable for 3 adults in our case.There were two issues however during our stay. The heated towel rail was not working from the beginning; we received a prompt reply that it would be repaired but no-one appeared throughout the week. Also we were situated immediately next to a lift which made a loud, squeaky noise 24hrs. Again nothing seemed to be done about it - we don't know how the residents put up with it?

    The apartment is clean large and has everything needed to be a home away from home. Location is excellent very close to shopping walking distance to the city centre and bus service is nearby and excellent. Totally enjoyed our 3 weeks and would highly recommend for longer holiday stays.

    This is the second time we have stayed at this apartment. We like the spaciousness of the property and it’s location on the edge of Funchal. The gardens are amazing and the outside areas are always clean and well presented. The residents are welcoming and respectful. As we stay for several weeks we like the fact that the apartment has laundry facilities. There are many very good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. However, the apartment is well equipped for home cooking.
