The Carriage House I (Upper) | 95 ft from the beach | Dog Friendly, Hot Tub | Nags Head

No beach view from the house, but being in the hot tub and hearing the waves crashing was wonderful and feeling the breeze from the ocean.The house was cozy and came equipped with everything we needed. The access to the beach was impeded when we arrived but after a quick phone call to the management company they got someone out within 24 hours and it was cleared. The beach access was fantastic for morning and evening beach walks.

Had a great time until the big rain hit widh the could fix a way do the road dont flood outwashing all your landscaping and trashcan everywhere but other then that we had theneat time and planning on nags head next summer as well

Excellent property exactly as described. Would like an option for shade on upper deck and a little more paper products to be provided for guests. The beds are in desperate need for new mattresses. That being said, your vacation definitely won't go down with the ship if you choose this property.

Beddrooms are small. Queen room needs fan running to keep cool. Deck was nice but there was road noise.Spa was nice. Short walk to beach. Beach is visible from deck in a small space. Plenty of dining room & full kitchen. may need some flatware. Staff very responsive, easy communication. Overall we had a great time, right off the beach, and it was dog friendly. I would recommend.

The ground are very well kept and I love the landscaping. They made use of the native plants. It a two minute walk to the beach. You can't see but a little glimpse of the ocean from the cottage because there is a sand dune protecting the property in front of the cottage. The sand dune blocks the view, but I understand the necessity. During our stay the water came very close to the cottage. You can see Jockey's Ridge from the front of the cottage, which was nice to watch the kites and hangliders. The place was clean.

Had a wonderful week at the Carriage House! Steps from a beautiful quiet stretch of the beach, and a 10 min walk to the dunes at Jockeys Ridge. Cozy, welcoming and everything the 4 of us (5 incl our chiweenie!) needed for a great recharge. Thank you!

Cute cottage and liked that it had 2 bathrooms and was very close to the beach. I gave it 4 stars because the kitchen was not well equipped and we enjoy cooking our meals, even on vacation. In addition, there was no real family room to get comfortable and watch TV or read in the evenings.

This house was fantastic! It is steps to the beach and walking distance to the best tiki bar, Mulligans. The hot tub and giant deck are also a great perks. I highly recommend this place as long as two folks don't mind sleeping in bunk beds.

The property was a little smaller than I expected but was perfect for our getaway. Super clean. Big deck to enjoy the sunshine with a gate so the dog could roam freely on the deck. It’s a quick walk to the beach with easy access. The location was perfect with plenty of restaurants of shops in walking distance. We will definitely be staying there again.
