Stayed Apr 16, 2024My husband and I stayed here for our 17th anniversary and it was great! We originally had reservations to stay at a different resort but changed our mind and booked with Tranquility suites resort 2 weeks before our stay. Communication with Jesse and Zun was excellent from the time I booked, when we arrived at the airport and while at the resort. The room is very spacious and the pictures on Vrbo is exactly what you get. When my husband wanted some alone time to read and meditate he went out on the balcony and the breeze blows all day. It was so peaceful, seeing the waves come in, and hearing the birds talk. The groundskeeper work really hard seems like everyday to keep the beach clean, raking the seaweed and the outside was very clean and well taken care of. I love the coconut trees that welcomes you as you come in. The only time I heard neighbors talking overhead or below is when I was on the balcony. And I could hear them move furniture but other than that very peaceful. I’m not exaggerating but even the water felt like it had moisturizer in it! We had two problems that came up during our stay. The toilet needed to be repaired and we had a problem with lighting the stovetop. I sent a message to Jesse our concierge, and she responded within an hour, she came to give us a lighter and we had our toilet repaired within the same day. That is outstanding service. The resort is in a very safe area about 15 min from the downtown area of Placencia where all the restaurants are.
