Tannenblick, Villa Lageder

We were able to find and access the property with great ease and were delighted to find it pristine and ready for our holiday. The kitchen was immaculate and very well equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of glassware and crockery, a lovely oven, a big fridge and a dishwasher. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and an extra bed was provided for a late addition to our party. A large balcony with a table and chairs made for excellent outdoor space in addition to the large garden. Although there are several other apartments in the property, we were not disturbed by other residents and rarely heard or saw them. Beautiful views from the balcony and in a great central location meaning we could walk to all bars and shops. The WiFi was fairly reliable and the tv had access to all streaming services.Super bus services to Bolzano was available and a good location for many great hikes in the Dolomites.

The apartment was spotless, nicely furnished and conveniently located. However, the owner wanted to charge quite an amount extra for bedsheets and towels (we brought our own to avoid it). I do not find this fair, especially since the apartment was not really cheap and I do not think I was warned before I made the reservation.

The historical building is tastefully renovated, with plenty of space in the garden area. The Tannenblick apartment is extremely well set up for all your cooking needs. Rarely have I encountered such a great kitchen in a holiday apartment. The rest of the apartment was just as nice and equipped with comfortable furnishings. The apartment is well situated as it is really only a minute or two walk to the town and very easily accessible by car. It is very peaceful and quiet. The use of the sauna is a plus, though do be aware that it is not included in the price of the stay. The only minus was the lack of a stereo or radio. The owner greeted us with a smile and kind words. Would definitely recommend it to hikers, mountain bikers and people that do not want to be in the popular areas for tourism.
