Locals are very friendly and helpful, and you shouldn't hesitate to ask anyone for tips and recommendations.

The Sevier River Ranch is very private on the edge of town. It sits on 280+ acres and is traversed by the Sevier River and there are typically 100+ head of cattle on the property during the summer season.

The nearest grocery store is in Panguitch (15 mins) and you will find a Walmart Super Center in Cedar City or a grocery store in Kanab (1 hour). There are two convenience stores and 4 restaurants in Hatch, but they close from about October 15th through April 15th. There are several restaurants on the way to Bryce Canyon and some are open year round.

There is no public transportation. You will need a car (4x4 or high clearance is recommended in order to enjoy the surrounding off-road trails), but a regular low-clearance sedan is sufficient to access the Ranch House itself.

This was a really nice place. It exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately we arrived late and left early in the morning. The property has natural beauty in every direction. Great place to relax and recharge. I wish would have had more time to stay. five stars

We thought the property was great! Clean. Well put together. Had all the things needed for a quick stay. It was centrally located for the hikes and drives we wanted to squeeze in. Only disappointment was that the Outlaw Saloon does not allow anyone under 21 (Utah Laws) to enter and have a meal.We had our daughter with us (18) and were told to go somewhere else. So we went to The Red Dirt Diner down the street. They serve beer and wine and had good burgers and kind service/staff. Reasonable prices. The breakfast burritos and coffee at Sevier Coffee and Cafe, were really good, too.

Lovely log cabin in quiet location and only half an hour to Bryce Canyon. Well maintained and clean with comfy beds and accommodated a family of four perfectly. We bought steaks from nearby Penguitch to cook at the cabin. Pleasant to wander the ranch and sit on the swing while being entertained by the resident marmot. Would definitely recommend.

Love this property. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. Close to Bryce and Zion, with a full kitchen and beautiful bathroom and shower, and rustic log cabin ambience, the family loved staying here. Great for families!

Fantastic location. Unbelievable night sky. Well stocked kitchen. The ranch animals were an added bonus. The floor however could have been kept cleaner. The next cabin tenant parked right in front of our unit, and totally blocked our window. Assigned parking can keep some such people in front of their own units. But overall, great stay.

Definitely get travel insurance. They stand by their cancellation policy. Zero refund after than cancellation date. Completely understandable. I cannot argue this. We did not get insurance to protect our trip. We live in Charlotte County, FL and had direct impact from Hurricane Milton. Complete devastation here. We tried our best to not lose the money. Flights were canceled. We rescheduled them and they were canceled again. We could have driven to another state to get a flight but the power was out for over 2 days and we could not leave my senior mother and small dog. We opted to stay to run the generator and keep the house intact. Property manager was kind but unfortunately we were not able to fulfill our contract and enjoy the property. We should have prepared better for the unknown. I know the property is amazing and wish we could see Utah. Hoping for a better experience next time !!

The Tack Room was very well appointed, peaceful and comfortable. We appreciated having the kitchen to make meals after long days of hiking, plus the fire pit to enjoy and keep warm while stargazing. We loved watching the goldfinches out the kitchen window and the Utah prairie dogs on the property. Perfect location for exploring Bryce Canyon. Go to the Outlaw Saloon right down the street for great food and service!

My husband and I booked this room for our visit to Bryce Canyon. We loved how it was tucked away, yet still accessible. The cows truly did greet us (and they were so cute!). There aren't many restaurants in the area, but we had a delicious, reasonably-priced, hearty meal at the Outlaw Saloon and the staff was extremely friendly. For breakfast, we grabbed coffee and sandwiches just down the street at Sevier Coffee and it kept us full all morning! Our room was cozy and the bed was so comfy! Everything was clean and it was convenient to have a fridge/freezer with a speedy ice-maker! Communication with Gordon was awesome... he was informative, and quick to respond to a question I had. A bonus to all of these good things is that when we returned from dinner, we walked along the path and were awe-struck by the beauty of the stars and the Milky Way.

We wanted a place to stay between Zion and Bryce. We found this place, and it was perfect. The kids were pumped when we opened the door to a nice log cabin, that was decorated super cutely. Of the hotel-like places we stayed on our trip, this was by far our favorite.
