Plus points: Excellent location, very comfortable beds, very clean, spacious living area. Communication with Pedro and Mario was very good.Minus points:Blinds in living room did not work and Mario also couldn't work them.Patio doors do not fit properly, although can be locked.Table lamps in living room do not work.Balcony door in kitchen does not open properly. Both bedrooms need curtains or blinds, there were holes when blinds had been and both had curtain poles.Although these points are minor they should really be addressed.Overall though we had an enjoyable stay and would return.Mario was very helpful.

The positives are : the location, as described is excellent. Both Pedro and Mario were available and cooperative. The negatives are : The bathroom door handle is missing. It Can only be opened from the outside. If the bathroom door is fully closed you are locked in the bathroom. If you are alone this would be a disaster. This needs to be fixed immediately. Additionally there are several minor issues that could be fixed quickly and inexpensively. The coffee maker is broken, the shade in the living room is broken, umbrella on the patio is broken. TV was difficult to operate ( no instructions ), two lamps in living room didn’t work.We had to go out and buy soap, a wash cloth and toilet paper. As stated none of these, except the bathroom door handle were serious but considering the amount paid we expected a more upscale facility. The property has a lot of potential. A handyman and 200 Euros would go a long way to improve this property and the stay of future VRBO visitors.

Great location to everything, very large well equipped apartment. Does need some TLC in kitchen and bath areas, especially the moldy grout around the sinks. The cleaning staff did an immaculate job otherwise. Lighting in main areas needs to be brighter as unable to read at night, maybe a floor lamp??? Mario, the property manager was available 24/7 and responded immediately to any issues(very few). Overall great apartment and would definitely stay again. 31 days.

There were renovation works going on in the apartment above us that caused a lot of noise and dust. That spoiled a little bit our holiday.

The check in process is ,my opinion, very bad, especially when your in a foreign country and it’s 6 at night and you can’t get a hold of anyone, phone, thru VRBO app. But my wife said call VRBO and what a great idea,he called the owner who got a hold of the property manager and, after freaking out,you don’t have to,it will be handled, lol,my over reaction, all was great!! This place ,area, has EVERYTHING you can think of.Overall, book it!!!! It’s worth everything you will so glade you did,and the place is very good to say!!!

Had a little trouble finding out where to get the keys due to a language barrier, but once I was given Mario’s number there was no problem. The place was awesome. Great views and right on the promenade with some great restaurants and cafes within a few step. Definitely book again!

There is no doubt that this is a lovely apartment with stunning views and we were delighted when we arrived to enjoy our 2 week holiday. The only problem (to begin with) was the fridge. The door would not close properly so there was a constant pool of water on one of the shelves and nothing was chilled. We had to put a chair up against the door just to keep it closed. This was apparently our fault and not the fridge? However, things really did go pear shaped when on the third night we could not access the apartment as the key would not turn in the lock. Mario, the agent, called a locksmith who could not fix the lock or replace it, which meant we could only access the apartment from the inside, which was not a lot of good when you want to go out! Mario provided us with a screwdriver which we could use to get in, but did not always work! We decided it was too risky. If we could get in with a screwdriver then anyone could get in so we had to take it in turns to go out. Mario did not communicate with us and so after 3 days of waiting we decided to leave. The most upsetting thing about the situation was the owners attitude when we told him why we had left early. He first of all tried to blame us for the lock not working and wanted to charge us for it, even though it was the locksmith and the agent who snapped the key in the lock not us. When I protested he then tried a different tack and tried to claim our children (15 & 16 year old girls) had been jumping on the sofas and he was now withholding our security deposit.. Everyone I am sure has bad experiences with holidays, but I have to say that after renting apartments all over the world for the last 30 years I have never come across an attitude like Pedro the owner had to us. He resorted to name calling, insults and lies. He could not justify keeping the deposit or charging us for his broken lock as he was well aware we could not have been responsible for turning a key in a lock that would not open and also that we left the apartment as we found it. I have been criticised in the past by my family for leaving accommodation cleaner than it was when we arrived, so sorry Pedro your insulting comments are not justified. I hope all prospective renters will enjoy their stay at Pedro's apartment as it is lovely, although it could do with a new bath mat (very small point) but note that if anything does go wrong in the apartment the blame will be put at your door!
