Stayed Jun 5, 2023This is a serviced apartment and not a hotel. There is no lobby and nowhere within 30 mins to store luggage. Check in is very late, 4PM. The Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable. And entry to the apartment is behind 3 locked gates and then a front door so it feels like a prison. This is exasperated by zero view, each window looks out at a wall. If you have toddlers forget it, the stair case and mezzanine is a death trap. And lastly be prepared to be woken up at 6 am by cleaners and rubbish collection and the echo chamber courtyard below.

Stayed Sep 12, 2023I’ve never left a negative review. I’ve stayed all over the world. I love France, I travel there often. I always stay in an AirBB or VRBO. This place is ridiculous. It looks cool. In reality, it’s a very uncomfortable place to stay. -You need to use FOUR separate codes & gates/entrances to access the apartment, including one that requires your phone. (Unless you have a key, I’ll get to that.) At night this is *beyond cumbersome & irritating. -The management does not answer their phone if you need help. Only electronically & not always. -We landed at 9:00am. Were not given access until 4:00. We asked for an early checkin they said no. That happens. Yes, they stored our luggage for free, but they are located FAR away from the flat. When we figured out how to get into the flat, the cleaning person was still there. He told us that they hadn’t left a key for us -this would ideally help alleviate the 4th code. - After an hour on hold, I emailed them & told them we needed a key. They responded saying they “might” get it to us the next day. -They DID drop off the key the next day. However, when we got home at 11:00pm, the front door was UNLOCKED. We had our passports, etc in there! -Internet is BAD. -The 2nd level w 3 beds is a loft. You can hear everything. -To shower you have to walk up 2 floors of metal spiral stairs thru the *3rd floor bedroom. -The main couch is tiny. The other one is metal. -If your or neighbors a/c is on you can’t sit outside, it’s way too loud.

Stayed Aug 15, 2023Recently completed a fantastic stay in this apartment. In a busy neighborhood just steps from the Funicular, the apartment is clean and very comfortable. Short walk to two metro stations, lots of dining and shopping options very close by. Air conditioned, which was a savior during our stay. Comfortably housed our family of four. In suite washing machine was great. Lots of stairs in the apartment, so anyone with toddlers or that have issues with stairs should be aware, but for us that was a non-issue. Only negative would be very slow internet. Would not hesitate to book again!

Stayed Jun 24, 2023Nestled in the heart of Montmartre, the property was charmingly perfect! The check-in/check-out process was seamless. Our family of 5 enjoyed the access to the lively neighborhood while still providing a surprisingly quiet and private place to rest our heads. We would definitely come back!

Stayed Jun 6, 2023We found the apartment exactly as pictured and described. The location was very convenient with many restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, and shops just steps away. In addition, two nearby metro stops allowed our family easy travel throughout Paris. The host organization, known as ‘Sweet Inn’, was responsive, and helpful and we felt safe as the result of three electronic key-coded gates. Passwords were submitted to us via email and through WhatsApp. Private courtyard for morning coffee, bird heard singing from open windows, clean and accessible. Highly recommended.

Stayed Mar 24, 2023We were 100% happy with our stay. The apartment was up on Montmartre, literally steps away from the base of Sacré Coeur, and a 5-minute walk from 2 Metro stops on 2 different lines. The area teemed with restaurants (we would highly recommend Le Bistrot des Martyrs) and had several grocers nearby. The apartment was clean and comfortable, exactly as shown in the photos. We definitely would stay there again.

Stayed Dec 25, 2022We loved our stay at this apartment. Our family of four had enough space to not feel too crowded. They property was clean and had plenty on towels or bathroom toiletries for all four guests. The location was great! Two metro stations within 5 min walk Anvers or Abbesses. Views of Sacre Coure out the front door of the apartment. Sweet Inn was so accommodating. They helped store our lost luggage until we were able to pick it up. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris!

Stayed Sep 23, 2022The apartment was perfect for our family with two 16-year olds as they had their own space. It's clean, modern, with a spacious top floor. I have a slight hip problem, so negotiating the stairs was tricky and for that reason, I wouldn't recommend people with major mobility issues stay there. The other potential problem is that the apartment has digital access. Four codes are sent to you 15 minutes before check-in; these provide access to the street door, two gates and the apartment door. Hence the apartment is very secure and as long as the inhabitants of the neighboring apartments are co-operative (ours were), then it's also quiet. That said, I can understand how some people (perhaps especially older people and those who want to escape their appliances for a while), may find this reliance on digital access irritating and unnecessarily convoluted. Rue Tardieu itself is in the epi-centre of tourism, so souvenir and fast-food shops abound, but on the plus side, the funiculaire is directly opposite the apartment, so you can easily access higher areas, and the view of the Sacre Coeur from the street is beautiful. Down the hill (south Pigalle) is more interesting and less touristy the further down you go. Rue des Martyrs, after you cross Boulevard Barbes Rochouart, is gorgeous, with a variety of specialty French shops, cafes and restaurants and a cute square with a merry-go-round, trees and a brilliant bookshop selling old and new books from every continent. My suggestion is to go with at least a little French language under your belt. We all speak some French and always found people very friendly, but we witnessed many tourists beginning interactions with locals in rapid-fire English and without a bonjour, who were understandably met with annoyance.

Stayed Jul 28, 2022Cute place, great location. Easy to access, lots of local restaurants, souvenir shops, close to metro. The place was clean, beds were comfortable. They could use a couple more mirrors, one in downstairs bathroom and one on the second floor. Also, they could use a a couple shelves in the upstairs bathroom and a shower caddy or something, there's no where to set your toiletries and such. Other than that, great place and easy checkout.

Stayed Aug 28, 2021The location of this “gite” was fabulous, and Sandrine was very helpful and responsive. People with small children should know that toys will probably end up flying or dropping into one of the little creeks surrounding the house, and that the creek bottoms are very muddy, so wading in them is not recommended… Otherwise, there’s a lot of space to run and play. This place is incredibly bucolic and peaceful, and taking a chair and a book to sit on one of the bridges watching the water stream by while is one of my favorite pastimes What people should also realize is that there are several there are two buildings on this property, with two units in one building and two in the other. That means, if it’s booked for, there are people around! Also, it’s an above ground pool, which not everybody likes or appreciates. Last but not least, the Wi-Fi was awful. Do not come here if you intend to work online or download anything.
