This is our beloved home in between the rooftops of Paris. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found this gem from 1824, and renovated it ourselves. For over one year, we have been drawing, planning, sawing, hammering and painting, and now we are happy to share our 40m2 beauty with you. Please be aware that we actually live here. It's not a hotel! You’ll get our soft sheets, thick towels and my grandmother’s porcelain. We are looking for guests who appreciate and love objects with stories.

Housing
The living room is flooded with sunlight as the three windows are south facing. You have a fully equipped kitchen - we cook family dinners here and often invite guests - a dining table with 4 chairs, a sofa that folds out to a very comfortable double bed, and my favorite: the steel daybed from the 19th century, that we carefully stripped of layers of history and painting. A fifth person can sleep on it if need be.
The old fireplace does not work anymore, but it still looks pretty, lit by some candles.

The bedroom with its queen size double bed and the bathroom are upstairs. The bedroom can not be completely closed off, the stairs will always be open. You will enjoy our luxurious duvet, 100% down feather (I promise it is life-changingly light and soft, like sleeping in a cloud), our expensive organic bedding - no steel, only organic material for less headache and deeper sleep - and of course our beautiful percale sheets. We think the best is only good enough when it comes to our sleep, and you are very welcome to enjoy this luxury during your stay.
The bathroom has a door that you can shut for privacy. It is equipped with a bathtub, toilet and sink. Our thick white towels come from the same organic brand as the sheets, you will like them. When you take your shower, you will have to sit down in the bathtub. The view into the sky is really nice. Enjoy stretching out in a hot bath after your busy day and gaze up into the stars!

Travelers access
You have access to the whole flat and a second toilet outside the flat, which you are sharing with us if you wish to use it. You have a private toilet in your private bathroom. The entire flat is your private space, we do not have access to it while you are here. The interior courtyard is shared between all neighbors. Unfortunately, you can not sit and relax here, because the house-rules we have agreed on with neighbors don’t allow it. But you will enjoy coming home to this peaceful scenery after a long day in the city. All the plants also keep the building nice and fresh in summer.

We only have 2 rules:
1: Please don’t smoke. Not in the flat, not in the hallway, and not in the courtyard.
2: Please don’t sit or lie on top of our expensive duvet. The feathers would break and you would ruin its delicious fluffiness.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautifully appointed apartment. Anna was a wonderful host, greeting us warmly and providing all the necessary information. The fridge was stocked with homemade jam and butter, and there was plenty of coffee to get us started. A lovely bouquet of flowers added a touch of warmth to our welcome. The apartment was exactly as described, very clean, and perfectly situated for our needs. I highly recommend it, though it's worth noting that there's no elevator, which wasn't an issue for us.

The property owner went above and beyond in communicating. She was proactive, responsive, and even provided a detailed menu of local options for eating, shopping and sightseeing. The apartment was super cute and was well stocked with all the basics anyone would need (owner even stocked fridge with milk, butter, jelly, etc). Convenient to two metro stations, lots of shopping and eating options nearby. One of my favorite rental experiences!

Beautifully designed, the apartment was ideal for our family of 5 for a 3 night stay in April. Space during the day, comfortable overnight, a little taste of life in Paris.

The property is decorated beautifully. It’s in a very young hip location so it’s great for any bars or restaurant as far as walkability Unfortunately we did not get any sleep due to all the noise around us. Between the slamming doors, crying babies and people partying till 4am we couldn’t get any rest. Note that if you are over 5’5 you will not be able to shower and it is very difficult getting up and down the ladder to the main bedroom. Be aware it is on the top floor so bringing luggage up and down the steps is difficult. Also, you cannot use the washer because it had an overwhelming moldy smell. It’s a beautiful place, just not for anyone over 25.

This apartment is charming! It is very clean and stylish. It was spacious enough for our family of 5. There are many restaurants and stores in walking distance. Also, the apartment is in walking distance to two metro stations. The owners are very kind and easy to work with. They made our stay special and easy.

What hospitality, and a nice view to boot! Anna and Christophe were the best hosts and super responsive. Great location for a family of 4 (2 teens). Convenient to several metros, and can walk to Marais or further. Nice look out onto the French rooftops. The stairs were a bit of abhike after a long day of walking, so budget that into your step count.
