We just renovated this tiny studio in the city centre of Trieste. It used to be the home of port workers in the early '800 and it's a perfect spot to start exploring the city :) It is fitted with freshly furniture and taste. The bed is very comfortable.
It's a great choice for solo travelers or couples. There is a small bathroom with a shower and bidet, and a kitchenette. Fast Wi-Fi and AC, no TV yet. We have self-check-in. Free parking on street or nearby Silos garage (10

Stayed Jul 20, 2024When we arrived the keys weren’t in the lockbox for the unit. We messaged the host and he had his assistant text me to remedy the situation. The assistant couldn’t be there for an hour so we were offered the lockbox number for a different unit (4C) that we could leave our stuff in as we had dinner reservations and couldn’t wait. The assistant said we could exchange our keys, retrieve our belongings and move to the correct unit (4B) when we returned. An hour and an half later, the assistant messaged to say we could just stay in the unit we had our luggage in (which we asked about at first and was told no since a it a bigger unit). All of this is a pain but if that was all it was, it would have been ok. The real problems arouse as soon as we stepped into the unit (4C). The smell of mold from the bathroom was overwhelming. The shower was mildewed and moldy. The bed had threadbare sheets, no blanket, and the pillows were so flat they might as well not been there at all. We asked about a blanket and were told everything we needed was in the room and what we paid for. We eventually found a duvet but it was so soiled and yellowed on the edges from people’s sweat there is no way we would use it. So we slept in our clothes (yes it was summer but the unit was very cool, the only good part). Pictures that should have been hung were on the floor, there was trash in the can already but we were expected to take it out making us wonder if the unit had actually been cleaned…disappointing!
