Stayed Jul 29, 2024We went as a family of 6 to an apartment at Arroyo de la miel and I have to say... it was everything we had hoped for. The apartment is gated with shared garden and only 5 minutes walk from Benalmadena train station which is handy for travel from Malaga, Airport, Torremolinos, and Fuengirola . Trains are reliable,frequent and relatively cheap. We were met at the apartment by Jesús after a quick call to tell him we had landed at Malaga. He is a very polite, well mannered and helpful man. He showed us the keys for the gate and door and walked us through the apartment. It is on the 2nd floor and has a lift which worked flawlessly. The apartment has 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds in each and they are a fair size. There are 2 bathrooms with walk in showers, both very modern. The lounge is a good size with satellite tv and also the owner has left access to Netflix etc so plenty of English speaking channels to keep you entertained if you decide to stay in. In the lounge is a corner suite/ sofa bed. Very comfortable and converting into bed is so easy! There is a dining set and also patio furniture outside on the balcony. There is air con in lounge and the 2 bedrooms which worked great in the 40 degree heat. The kitchen is a good size and very well equipped. There are plenty of local cafes, bars and restaurants close by. The balcony looks onto the plaza/ square and we were lucky enough that there was a fair from Thursday to Monday with bands, kids rides, fair grub .. free entertainment.

Stayed Jan 4, 2026Ideally situated apartment close to buses and trains. Many many restaurants, cafes and bars close by. The beach is 10-15 minutes walk ( depending on age and speed) or just hop on the local bus. Because the apartment is situated on a plaza rather than roadside we found it very peaceful. The property had everything necessary for our 5 week stay and will willingly return.

Stayed Sep 1, 2025The property description was not really accurateYES, it was a nice size with plenty of space, two good bathrooms and a good kitchen. The airconditioning was a big plus and it worked well. BUT a great deal of attention had not been taken 'for the comfort of guests': 1. The kitchen equipment was poor. Not enough crockery or cutlery for 6 people. (Good supply of glasses). More like a supply for a caravan on a camping site. Also there was no tea towel for drying dishes. 2. The bathrooms were good, but had no plugs for the sink (we bought them). Also, the shower was excellent, but there was no shelf for the soap or shampoo! 3. In general the furniture seemed to be the cheapest available. Very flimsy plastic balcony furniture.ALSO, whilst the location was good, the area, although potentially quiet was NOT. The balcony overlooked a childs' play area which was used by hordes of kids shouting and screaming from about 5pm until late - as late as midnight or 1am on weekends. There was no chance of some quiet relaxation on the balcony in the evening. As two elderly chaps this was what we really look forward to on a summer holiday in a warm climate. (Thank goodness Tivoli was closed or we would have been assailed with noise from back AND front).We really liked the location of the property and could have put aside the internal problems but the noise problem will preclude us from coming. It needs to be mentioned in your description. You cannot say this is a quiet area

Stayed Feb 25, 2025Lidia met us in person at the apartment, and everything was as expected . It was very clean, comfortable and a great location. There are many restaurants, bars and shops within just a 5 minute walk. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return sometime.

Stayed Oct 7, 2024The property was in an ideal position for eating out, travelling everywhere easily by bus or train, or just going out for breakfast in the morning. The only criticism would be that it’s quite noisy overnight so not brilliant if you’re a light sleeper. We all enjoyed our stay there and would probably go there again.

Stayed May 14, 2024Exactly what we were looking for - comfortable spacious apartment ( certainly for 2 adults ) spotlessly clean with adequate equipment- TV was difficult but that probably had something to do with age of the client. The location was perfect just 200 yards from the railway station and the town centre and on the flat. The handover of keys by Benalcoast Properties was efficient and we were well informed with no problems. The one little problem with a faulty kettle and a blown fuse was handled immediately and to everyone’s satisfaction. All in all an excellent experience and one we would not hesitate to repeat and would highly recommend.

Stayed Feb 27, 2024We wanted an apartment on the flat with good access to the rail link, and, hopefully a sunny balcony. Mark us three ticks! Apart from a slope to the communal gate, access to he apartment was a breeze for two Scots oldies. The walk from Benalmadena/Arroyo de la Miel train station took only five minutes. We followed the sun from east to west on the decent-sized balcony, and look closely and there was even a sea view. Our apartment was cosy and well equipped. Problem was, our toaster no longer toasted but was speedily replaced. Our kettle refused to work in the kitchen but worked in the living room. No hardship that. Our large TV had 99 Sky channels once we discovered how to get them. There was a lift to the second floor of our accommodation, though it was out of order for most of our stay. Supermarket shopping was a five-minute venture, though uphill on the initial stretch. There were two bar/restaurants nearby, both excellent with friendly staff. Pizzas at the most local were excellent. So our stay was a good one. We had a mix-up with gate keys, but speedily resolved. Would happily return.

Stayed Mar 6, 2022fantastic location for walking to beach, train station and buses. No need to walk for for something to eat and drink or shop. No hesitation at all for recommending this property
