The Leukerbad area: Leukerbad is situated in the heart of the Alps at a height of 1400m. It is the largest thermal resort in the Alps. Around four million litres of thermal spring water gush out of the rock every day. It flows into whirlpool baths and steam baths, supplies massage showers and saunas, feeds 22 swimming pools and contributes to 250 different wellness treatments. Great for a wellness break or after a long day on the slopes or to relax after a long hike.

Leukerbad boasts over 200 km of hiking trails in the Summer, a via-ferrata route that climbs to the Daubenhorn, a magnificent panorama from the Torrent region and a sports centre where guests can enjoy tennis, squash, badminton, table tennis, mini-golf.

The Valais region: The Valais region of Switzerland is truly the heart of the Alps - home to the country's highest peaks, extreme mountain terrain and renowned ski resorts such as Zermatt and Verbier. But a visit to the region does not have to mean just skiing, as even in Winter there is plenty to explore for the non-skier.

Hiking, adventures, culture and gastronomy can all be enjoyed in stunning surroundings. 8000km of hiking trails meander across mountains and through forests under a sun which seems to shine forever. The Valais region enjoys 320 days sunshine on average per year and as a result miles and miles of vineyards can be found clinging to the mountain slopes in the Summer. The neighbouring village of Varen has earned itself a reputation as a leader in the production of organic wine.

The Valais region also owns a region which UNESCO has designated as the first alpine heritage area in the world thanks to the Aletsch Glacier, the longest in Europe.

Really nice clean apartment with all of the conveniences. Les Naturelles staff are very helpful. There are extra costs ,that the resort charges after you pay for the place I wish that would have been indicated before I decided to stay here, but it is still a great deal after all that. Really enjoyed it, thank you.

My family and I loved Les Naturalles. It was so clean, cozy, and just beautiful with the snow in the background. Thomas at the front desk is so helpful and courteous! He adds to the harm of the place. The apartment had everything we needed. The apartment was perfectly located in town. We easily walked all around the area with our three children. We will definitely be back. My only complaint is that I wish I knew I was being charged for a crib (I was under the impression it was included) and linens. That was almost an extra 100 dollars. Other than that, fabulous place. I highly recommend!!!

We spent a long week-end at Les Naturelles. As mentioned: The view is stunning, the apartment is clean and well equipped. And Leukerbad is really, really lovely. There's one thing that bothered us, though. The indicated price of fewo-direkt is not what you'll actually end up paying. It's quite a bit more. All the extra fees (bed linen, tourist taxes, end cleaning) made the stay more than twice as expensive. I am aware that these fees weren't 'hidden fees'. They are mentioned under 'Further Details' and no one is to blame but me for not having read carefully through the entire description. Just be aware that a long week-end might get surprisingly more expensive if you really add everything up.
