Stayed Jan 1, 1It's a bit like living in a museum, but with modern comfort. We loved the view from the dining room and the absolutely quiet surroundings. The old wooden doors were a bit loud when closing. This might not be ideal if you're traveling with small children. The oil heating worked very well and we were happy to have it in September. In terms of kitchen equipment, everything you could imagine was there. And enough space to store all your things.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Hi This review is not for public sharing but for feedback only. The hot water was not working so we had to use the heating to heat the hot water. It look a long time for the hearing to hear the hot water resulting in more units of oil being used than we had intended. I don’t believe it is a reasonable position to charge people extra for hot water or lights. There was no allowance in the pricing for this which I think is unreasonable. We ended up having to use more oil than we intended because of the hot water issue which ultimately cost us more. The dishwasher and washing machine are giving off nasty electric shocks. If you are not wearing rubber soles (i.e grounded) a shock was given. it was very unpleasant. The kitchen has no exit which I consider a fire safety issue. Also I did not notice any smoke alarms. It’s not a property I would recommend to a family with children (fire safety) or for a winter break (no fuel or light allowance). Thank you

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Beautiful traditional cottage in a stunning location. Fabulous walks and swims on nearby Glassilaun beach. The wifi didnt really work but we were happy to have a break from technology.
