We had a wonderful stay at this great, studio apartment! Perfect for a couple. It was one block away from restaurants and bars. There is a designated, off street parking spot which was so convenient! Beautiful surrounding area - short walk to Volunteer Park. Capitol Hill has gorgeous old homes - it was fun to walk around and look at them. Dan was a fantastic host and communicated very well. He was so accommodating to us! The apartment itself was clean and thoughtfully stocked with coffee, tea, and toiletries. I would highly recommend staying there and if we’re in Seattle again, we would definitely stay there again ?

Dan, the host, owns the building and lives there. He’s outstandingly affable and helpful. Having lived a block from this property for some years a while back, I can say that you’ll get an excellent taste of the real Capitol Hill, with all its grit and all its charm.

Dan was super helpful and his place was very nice and clean. It had a great view of the space needle and was a short walk to spots in capital hill and the train station. Highly recommend staying here!

Had to come from out of town to Virginia Mason for medical procedures. The apartment was close to the hospital and handy. It was also a plus that there is a Safeway right across the street. I appreciated the variety of teas Dan provided. I don’t do caffeine and he had caffeine free options (even my favorite brand!)Clean, nicely appointed apartment and a wonderful view.

An older building in a safe neighborhood, This is an older apartment, it is cute and clean. The bed is comfortable and the shower is good. If you're looking for fancy, this is not it. The view of the Needle at night is lovely. The location is convenient for most things and it's easy to get to public transportation to just sbout a anywhere in the city. The host is a great guy, friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed meeting him. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and there isn't an elevator, but the stairs aren't steep and we didn't have any problem walking up them. It was a delightful place for my hubby and I for the 2 nightswe were there...

The property is a beautifully refurbished unit in one of Capitol Hill's prewar brick apartment houses. My husband and I lived on Capitol Hill for many years and relished every aspect of our stay in this property. It would be difficult to overstate the outstanding good taste and considerateness with which the unit is remodeled, furnished and stocked, and Dan (the host) is a cordial and generous guy who lives right in the building. The only reason that I give less than five stars under Accuracy of Online Listing is that visitors unaccustomed to urban grit might initially find the overall look and feel of the building to be a contrast with the excellence of the unit itself. But my final word is that the unit and Dan are so great that I would urge anyone to give it a try and experience the real Capitol Hill.

My husband & I stayed here when we came to Seattle for a Seahawks game (from Canada). The place suited us perfectly. It's a spacious studio with a great view. Quiet neighborhood and building. Right across the street is Safeway. Less than 10 min walk to the subway that takes you to downtown or the stadium in no time. Communication with the owner was easy and efficient. Would consider staying here again. Only minor complaint was the apartment was more warm then we'd like but that is personal preferences and in a different season we could have opened a window. .

Our stay in Capitol Hill was amazing! Dan was extremely accommodating in all ways. He communicated in a timely manner, made the check-in/out process easy, and gave us great recommendations of places to go in the area. I would recommend this place to everyone not just for the location but also the welcoming host. Thank you, Dan!

Nice central district location. Parking space a nice bonus in this neighborhood. Plenty of eatery options within walking distance. Clean unit has a retro 50s vibe. Building itself is older and inside hallways are dingy and dirty. But once you get past that, the room is fine if a bit cramped in the bathroom for one. Dan is helpful and replies quickly if needed.

We would for sure recommend choosing this spot. Very cute, great light, quiet but close to everything. Nicely appointed with fixings for coffee and tons of toiletries if you left something at home. Comfy bed and excellent water pressure. And Dan is an excellent host! Sad to leave, hope to stay again someday.
