Stayed Jul 15, 2024Thank you to Christophe for his warm welcome at this beautiful little apartment. It was a great home base to use while we explored beautiful Dinard and the Brittany coast. Among the many benefits was the secure parking just beside the building. With parking at a premium in Dinard, this was a welcome perk. A little terrasse with a table and chairs allowed us to sit outside and watch the goings-on on the street below: families walking home after a long day on the beach, an old couple holding hands on their way to the market, young lovers having a spat on the corner - these were all lovely glimpses into life in a French beach town. And speaking of the market, Dinard has one of the best ones that we’ve ever seen in France, and just a short walk from the apartment. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to enjoy our market purchases at home. Just down the street was the beach, ice cream vendors, and the beautiful Royal Emeraude hotel where we enjoyed a late-night drink in “Le Darling” bar. We were pleasantly surprised to see that our drink order was served with a small plate of complimentary nibblies: nuts, olives, and a couple of little pinwheel sandwiches. And as if all this wasn’t enough, Christophe was even kind enough to order a double rainbow for us on our last night here, making this a truly spectacular stay! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment. Thank you for the wonderful memories.
