Nazario and his son we so pleasant and accommodating upon our arrival, such nice people. The apartment was spectacularly beautiful, with great pride in it’s presentation and atmosphere. In fact Casa Cogollo (the building where the apartment is located) was designed by Andrea Palladio. The location is perfectly situated to walk Central Vicenza. We very much enjoyed our stay in the beautiful city of Vicenza. I highly recommend Casa Cogollo as the place to stay during a visit to the historic city of Vicenza.

My husband and our two adult children stayed here for several days. There were many shops and restaurants close by. Vicenza is a beautiful city and this apartment is close to everything. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a beautifully remodeled historic apartment which keeps its character and yet provides you with all the comforts for a pleasant stay in Vicenza. It is very well centrally located and next to the Teatro Olimpico. In addition, no taxi is necessary if you want to venture out of the city to go to Venice, Padova, Verona or further as the train station is a short 15 minutes walk from the apartment. The place is nicely furnished and impeccably clean and the owner is accommodating and always available to answer any question. The main bedroom sometimes is exposed to noise from the street, particularly after a soccer match :) but overall it is a great place to stay.

Having lived in Vicenza off and on for many years, I was so happy to find this gorgeous apartment that Nazario and Danila have beautifully and meticulously modernized with fine attention to every detail. The studio is spacious and airy with the architectural details for which Palladio was so famous . A large spacious master bedroom (I slept the best I have in Italy) and a combination dining area with kitchenette afford lots of room for a couple or a single traveling alone. There is a separate twin bedroom which is good for families traveling with children. Just out the front door through the ancient loggia with statues lies Corso Palladio the main pedestrian street of Vicenza. Next door is Teatro Olimpico and across the street is Palazzo Chiericati. The location is excellent for everything you'd like to see and experience in Vicenza. Parking is available only a block away and costs about 20 euros per day. One afternoon I heard the organ music drifting through the dining area window from the Santa Corona Cathedral just next door. Very peaceful, very quiet, and away from the hustle and bustle of central Vicenza, My new retreat for my many trips back to my old home. Thank you Danila and Nazario for all your help, your gracious welcome, and your lovely home. Ci vedereremo ancora!

We had a wonderful time at the apt in a historic Palladio palace. The apt combines in a perfect way historic Charme with elegant modern design. The location next to theatre Olimpico is outstanding! We highly recommend this apt !

The owners are very charming and welcoming. The apartment is large with a huge main bedroom and well set-up kitchen yet it retains much of the historic fabric of the old building. It is ideally located, close to both museums and restaurants, yet quiet. It is also immediately adjacent to a wonderful church. This was a great place for us to rest after a day of sight seeing.
