Steps to Terrace Beach - Cozy Pet-Friendly Loft ⎮ Blue Heron

Great quiet location right next to the trail and beach! Very responsive host!

The best part of this property was the proximity to Terrace Beach. It was a short walk through the gorgeous rain forest towards the beach and we were able to make many visits down during our stay. The Wild Pacific Trail is also basically attached to the property and was easy to explore. The unit itself was clean and decorated in a calm and cute seaside eclectic. The loft was a great option for our family of 4 as the parents slept up top and the kids slept in the living space on the hide-a-bed. The bed could be quickly and easily put away and set back up as a couch during the day. The kitchen was small yet cozy and while we didn't cook in the unit, there were more than enough amenities available to do so. We often ended our day by sitting in the little nook, reading and having snacks. I will say, this size of unit wouldn't be suitable for older children. Ours were 8 and 5 and I could see the space feeling a lot smaller if the children were older. One child would be fine, regardless of age. The host communicated efficiently and often, replying to my queries right away and providing information well before it was required. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a fantastic location, perfect for beach walks and access to the trails. The space was a bit crowded for four adults. The host was very responsive. Overall, a good experience.

A very nice little cabin. The location is perfect being right next to the beach and a number of trails. Might want to invest in a new hot water heater. Ran out of hot water on the last day after only one shower.

Cozy loft suite! We enjoyed our stay. Very close to trails, beach, brewery, cafe and restaurants in Ucuelet. 30 min drive to tofino

An eagle nest in the tree right outside our bedroom window, the ocean and Wild Pacific trail only a few steps away so the location was great! The bed was extremely comfortable! If you have any issues with mobility, then not the place for you. You have a fair number of stairs to get to your unit and the bedroom is upstairs in the loft. Other than that, it offers everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The loft was clean and cozy and in the perfect location. Just steps from Terrace Beach and trails. Plus, it's pet friendly! Communication with the host was very easy and quick.

Well-equipped, comfortable, and tastefully decorated suite in a fantastic location right next to the Amphitrite Lighthouse trail and Terrace Beach. We appreciated the high ceilings, abundance of natural light, all the hooks in every room, and the cozy vibes!

What a lovely stay. Spent 5 days here just me and my dog. The suite was cute and perfect for just us and the location was ideal for exploring and taking in everything Ukee and Tofino have to offer. Can’t wait to come back.

Last minute we were notified the stove top was shattered. There was a replacement hot plate with small elements. The shattered stovetop was sharp and loose. Kitchen lighting was very low due to the under shelf battery operated lighting without charge and no options to charge. There was black mold on the caulking around the tub and on the shower curtain. Construction sounds coming from the downstairs apartment. Finally, an early check out of 10am. There were nice chocolates upon arrival, though. Not enough to make us want to return.

Our stay was lovely! Bryan, our host had everything ready for us when we arrived and we got to see a beautiful sunset down at the beach, just steps away from the condo! Gorgeous hiking trail right outside your door! Beds were comfortable, including the pull out, as that is what my son slept on. If I was to suggest improvements, it would be providing enough coffee for each morning we woke up there, not just 2, and that the entrance way stairs leading up to all the condo be cleaned more regularly. It didn't look like it had been done in a while. Other than that, everything was perfect!

The unit itself was very comfortable and clean. Unfortunately the poor sound insulation and building construction allowed a lot of noise to come through from the neighbours and hallway traffic. Loved the location and proximity to the Wild Pacific Trail! Gorgeous rainforest and beach access!
