Tacoma, Washington
Stay in a beautiful, modern apartment located in Tacoma’s gorgeous , historic Stadium District! The apartment is renovated and fully furnished. It is a studio unit with one bath that sleeps two and has beautiful hardwood floors throughout. There is a small sleeping nook with a queen bed and closet. The kitchen has granite counters, built in dishwasher, microwave dishes and cookware. The apartment includes cable TV, WiFi, heat, linens, towels, games, bike room access and off-street parking. The laundry facility is located just an elevator ride away!
The rental is located a few blocks from Wright Park, the Commencement Bay Waterfront, and Old Town Tacoma. We are also a short distance from Downtown Tacoma and I5. Seattle is 45 minutes away and the Tacoma Mall is about 20. Point Defiance, Ruston Way and Chambers Bay are also pretty close if you want an outdoor adventure. We are extremely close to many great restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and bars, for indoor fun, relaxation, and delicious food! Some gems in the neighborhood are Stadium Thriftway, Ranko's Pharmacy, Art House Cafe, Shake Shake Shake and Indo Asian Street Eatery.
We are looking forward to your stay and hope you love our beautiful city of Tacoma as much as we do. The one downfall of visiting the Pacific Northwest is the constant unreliable weather. We are here to make sure you enjoy your stay, rain or shine!
Best Wishes:)
This was a great place to stay! It was clean, updated, and comfortable. Just enough space for a quick stay with all amenities. Originally being from Tacoma, this is a convenient location for walking or driving to any part of the city. It’s in the heart of Stadium district and the dedicated parking was a plus. The host, Lucy, was very kind and customer centric! Would definitely stay again.
My room was really clean, beautiful decor and had a lovely view of the sound. Lucia is a great communicator and makes you feel right at home! It’s within walking distance to so many great places and you will definitely have to stop by next door to eat at The Art House Cafe.
Great location for driving to Seattle and National Parks. Would definitely stay there again!
Has everything a hotel would have and more
This is a small apartment in a classic building in the stadium neighborhood. Apartment is recently renovated and very comfortable and manager is hands-on and friendly.
Had stayed here before and was pleasantly surprised that an air conditioner and fans have been placed in the unit. Unit is beside the elevator, there is also a lot of outside, overhead and hallway noise, but the white noise of the fan helped immensely. Great place to stay and convenient to public transportation.
Property is wonderful and we love Lucy!
This is a nice apartment in a very old building. There are at least 4 restaurants on the same block and a few others in walking distance. Parking is less than convenient but if you have a small vehicle it shouldn’t be a problem. There is only a regular coffee maker but we were ok with that. All the linens and dishes were high end. The elevator is old and scary but the owner assured us that it is inspected monthly. The apartment is right beside the elevator, so the wall by the bed has the elevator shaft on the other side. This is a little noisy all night so light sleepers should bring ear plugs. I would stay here again.
Cozy and well stocked. Beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and lovely sheets and towels. A northern exposure, so I was very comfortable with the windows open in early August. Great little restaurant next door.
There was some coordination needed to meet in order to get the keys, garage opener, and get parked. Parking spot outside if your car is too big for garage. Building itself needs some major work to match the updates to the studio. Space was small but it’s all I needed. But I could not sleep well my entire stay - walls are thin, I could hear neighbors talking, moving around, doors shutting. There’s also no AC so I had the windows open but still very hot for trying to sleep. With windows open there was traffic, planes, trains, also a few homeless milling around the neighborhood and sleeping in the parking garage you can see from the window. I think that’s just part of this area but I wasn’t used to it. Maybe a portable AC unit and a white noise machine could help future guests? Positives: the property owner very friendly and helpful, you can see the water and some cool architecture from the window, very cool how the owner updated the studio.
I can't say enough about this studio. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Fantastic view of the water. Beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable bed, pillows and recliner. Well stocked kitchen. So much to see and do within walking distance or within a couples miles. Grocery store and eateries within walking. We stayed to await the finishing of our new condo but felt like we were on vacation!
The place is ideally located and cozy. The owners Lucy & John are extremely pleasant and are great on communication. Keep in mind, if you stay here in the summer, the unit does NOT have AC. We only had a few hot days while visiting and the owners brought in a few fans to make things more comfortable. Highly recommend staying here.
Very comfortable stay in this sparkling new studio apartment. The renovated small space is so beautifully decorated and designed it was a delight to spend time here. The view of Puget Sound over the rooftops was a delight to wake up to. Sunsets were spectacular as well. The bedroom alcove has silky-soft linens and a mattress that was ultra-comfy. I slept extremely well. This vintage apartment building has lots of charm and your choice of stairs or elevator. There are nice cafes a short walk across the street. One thing to note: the studio shares one wall in the entry with the elevator. There are sometimes sounds as it travels up and down however it's use is infrequent so it didn't keep me from having a good nights sleep. I enjoyed my stay here. It was especially nice to be able to walk for breakfast or lunch in an attractive neighborhood. And it was a lovely space to return to each night. I hope to stay again in the future. Thank you to management and cleaning staff for creating a wonderful, welcoming space.
Everything as advertised and more Lucy was very helpful and friendly
