Stayed Nov 21, 20251. Sheets and blankets smelled like mildew 2. No paper towels 3. WiFi didn't work. I messaged the owner everyday and they never bothered to fix it 4. The curtains did not block out any sunlight whatsoever.

Stayed Aug 19, 2025First off, the manager of this property was very easy to work with. They were responsive and helpful throughout our long stay in Sydney. Despite the several issues we ran into, they were always professional, helpful, and quick. They also prepped the apartment with plenary of goodies to get you started which was very kind and much appreciated. We did come during a large rain storm and ended had leaking from the roof in the stairwell the entire time we were there. Additionally, the dishwasher was inoperable. Although an inconvenience, the manager did offer compensation for this. Having laundry in the apartment was very nice. Proximity to the waterfront and many other attractions is ideal. You can walk/run just about anywhere you want. The route we took to the Opera House was just over a mile. That said, the apartment is located smack dab in the after bar closure hang out spot. There is zero sound barrier between the master bedroom and outside. Every Friday and Saturday you will have people below your window kicking over bikes, yelling, fighting, and vomiting-all of which you can clearly hear. This runs from about midnight to 4 AM. During the week, you are right across the street from a rental car agency, so the semi’s dropping off cars at 4AM will be you alarm on weekdays. Highly recommend you pack your ear plugs. Aside from the noise and mechanical issues, the apartment was ideal for what we were looking for. I suspect the mechanical issues will be resolved quickly.

Stayed Jun 12, 2025Overall the apartment was exactly as described in the advert, albeit, a little tired looking. It was in a great location, with good access to transport links. It was clean, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen was really well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable and the communication with the agents was pretty good, although we did have an issue with the balcony doors breaking which took a few days to rectify and then the handyman took our spare key, without telling us which caused some undue stress wondering where it had gone! Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. If you're sleeping in the main room, it is not only extremely cold (even with the heating on, which makes the rest of the apartment too hot), but it is unbelievably noisy. The Hertz garage opposite delivers their cars around 5.30 every morning and makes a horrendous noise, there's a construction site a couple of streets away and the dustbin men/road sweepers seem to come round almost every day. The bedroom needs double glazing to block out the noise and the heating fixing. Even with earplugs, I was woken daily at 5.30am. Take an eye mask too, as the blinds don't do anything to block out the light. There is no window in the second bedroom only glazed panels through to the main room, so you can't turn the light on without disturbing others. A fire stick was provided, but there is no way of accessing any 'normal' TV so unable to even get the basic news/weather.

Stayed Jan 15, 2025The property management team is very easy to communicate with. It is just a few minutes' walk to the Australian Museum and a 10 to 15 minutes walk to World Square or Westfield. While some may consider the property dated, we found it nice and comfortable for our stay. It has everything we need, including a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. I particularly enjoyed the living area on the top floor, as well as the two bedrooms located downstairs. There are also several nice restaurants and bars nearby, which can lead to noise on Friday and Saturday nights.

Stayed Jun 15, 2022Great apartment in an adorable neighborhood close to all the fun shops and restaurants in Darlinghurst but also an easy walk to the CBD (probably 25-30 minute walk to Harbor Bridge and opera house.) Everything is as advertised. My only issue was the road noise which can be startling at times so maybe pack earplugs as there are some loud motorcycles on the main road even though Riley is on a cul-de-sac and not open to through traffic. The downstairs master bedroom has gorgeous windows but they do seem to let the elements through so that room was colder than elsewhere. Bedroom two is adjacement to the main bedroom and there isn’t a lot of insulation so you can hear pretty well through the walls. Still a great apartment in an amazing location. Highly recommend Bar Nina and Lord Roberts Pub both a stone’s throw from the house. For breakfast, we loved Flour and Stone which is a little further walk but worth it.
