Summary:
Stylish 1,400+ square foot corner apartment with 12 foot tall ceilings, massive windows, an open layout, and fabulous city views in multiple directions. This dramatic light-filled three bedroom, two bathroom space is perfect for groups looking for a luxurious escape in the sky in the heart of downtown Chicago. Centrally located in a historic building close to everything you want to visit, this is the best location in the city!

The Space:
Located on a high floor in a secure, high-end building in the center of Chicago! Once inside, you're greeted by a airy light-filled space with large windows on multiple sides overlooking the city skyline and the neighborhood below (you can even see Lake Michigan in the distance). The views are fabulous during the day and at night!

Interior design is a passion of ours and the chic furnishings reflect that! There is fast internet, a 50 smart TV with Roku, and comfortable modern furniture to lounge on.

The kitchen and living room are open and spacious. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and all the tools you need to cook a great meal. We have 2 counter stools for the granite kitchen island and a small dining table. Plenty of room to dine comfortably or to use as a workspace.

For each guest, the comfortable beds have crisp, clean linens and the bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and bath products. Sleeping arrangements are as follows:

Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Queen bed

We also provide towels, iron, cleaning supplies, etc. and you have full access to the in-unit washer and dryer. The apartment has ample closet space throughout.

The building has a 24 hour doorman and great amenities including a gym, a club room lounge area, a convenience store, a gourmet coffee shop, and a speakeasy cocktail bar.

Guest Access:
You'll have complete and private access to our apartment and the building's shared amenities and retail spaces.

The Neighborhood:
The Loop is the heart of Chicago and the most central location in the entire city! You are surrounded by world-class architecture, shopping, theaters, parks, and other sites. From our place you can quickly walk to Millennium Park, the lakefront, the Chicago Riverwalk, the Art Institute, Grant Park, the Magnificent Mile, and so much more. The Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium are just a 5 minute ride or a scenic walk along the lakefront. Oak Street for luxury shopping and the West Loop restaurant row for world class dining are only 5 minutes away as well!

Getting Around:
Our place is surrounded by trains that will quickly take you anywhere in the city you want to go! Uber and Lyft are also available 24/7. You'll have no trouble getting around without a car. Directly next to our building are stops for all of the city's main train lines (Blue, Red, Brown, Pink, Orange, and Green lines), making it extremely easy to get to O'Hare and Midway Airports and other parts of the city such as the West Loop, Lincoln Park, McCormick Place, Old Town, Wicker Park, Logan Square, etc.

Parking is not included with our listing, but there are many convenient and secure parking garages close to our building (within a couple blocks). Nearby garages include 318 S Federal St, 64 W Van Buren St, and many others. I suggest using SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book discounted parking. You can usually find reasonable overnight parking for $15 to $30.

Other Things to Note:
Although located on a high floor, this property still receives some ambient noise from the nearby L train, which is normal for apartments in downtown Chicago. We provide ear plugs and noise machines for light sleepers.

Dogs allowed with prior approval only. Please inquire about breed restrictions. 35 pound weight limit. $35/night per pet fee applies. Unauthorized pets will incur a $500 fee.

Host was super responsive and accommodating with check in and check out. Apartment was perfectly furnished and equipped for our needs. It can be noisy being downtown and so close to the train, but the host had a supply of bedside earplugs which one in our party took advantage of. Concierge were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

The location was great, but there were a few misses: upon check in, the unit was 88 degrees, and it took hours upon hours to cooldown. I would consider revising your temperature policy. Additionally, the sofa in the living area is unstable and feels like it might break at any moment. I loved the large tub in the primary bedroom.

Unit is very spacious and enjoyable, location convenient in downtown area. Street noise and L train noise were only negative to this stay.

Excellent location for sight seeing and a nice place overall. It was not set up for cooking and eating at the property. We were there during a heat wave and it was a little difficult to regulate the temperature. All other elements of our stay were great.

If you are looking to feel the pulse of the city of Chicago and have close and easy access to transportation options, look no further! We loved our concierge Miriam and all her helpful suggestions. The property was convenient and comfortable. Safe and pretty.

Couldn’t beat this location! Close to train, subway, restaurants, coffee. Apartment was clean and had nice amenities. Great views! Hosts were easy to communicate with and gave lots of helpful information. We had very warm weather done day followed by snow the next so it was a bit tricky getting a comfortable temperature in the space. Being able to open the windows was helpful! Would recommend this property.

Overall, it was solid. The building itself was funky, meaning it's refurbished offices. You may want to mention that in your description somehow as it's a little off-putting to arrive and feel like you're walking into someone's office. Also, the bedrooms need drapes. The blinds don't do enough to block out light and that combined with street noise, makes for a less than ideal sleeping situation. Thanks for the ear plugs and noise machine. I needed both!

Overall, it was fine but NOT up to my standards for the price. The hallway smelled like feces when you got out of the elevator. The bathtub had mildew in it. The bathroom itself was tiny & could barely pass for clean, it was ok but not clean to my standards. The check in process was not great, I asked for an early check in and they didn't give it to me. When my wife and I arrived 10 minutes early, the keypad wouldn't unlock the door until the exact minute of check in (digital doorpad unlocked the door). That was quite a turn off because were standing the nasty smelling hallway for 10 minutes. The apartment was just ok. It was clean enough but I wouldn't ever recommend this place to my family or friends. I'm usually not someone to complain or be critical of places I rent but this time I was not happy with the experience or place we were given.

Spacious and historic apartment with huge windows and great city views. Walkable location to all the major sites. Delightful concierge staff. Heat/cooling system was tricky to regulate and the street noise from the L directly below was disruptive.

The apartment was perfect for our weekend trip with family. Three BR and 2 full baths. The location was near places we wanted to go so we were pleased. The Dollop coffee shop had closed. No biggie for us but just a note.

Great layout for multiple guest stays with a true flavor of big city living. Train station below that attracts many random folks at the corner 7eleven was the only downside, but not a deal breaker. The place could use a deep cleaning, but comfortable and clean beds, plenty of towels decorated with taste and a nice, fully equipped kitchen. Walking distance to all main tourist attractions

Unit inside is as advertised. Travelled as a family of 5 and had plenty of space. Proximity to trains is fantastic. Beds are comfortable. Place was clean. It’s worth noting that the building is on a block where groups of people loiter. There were typically 10-15 people on the corner in various states of sobriety when we would come and go. Periodic police presence would break up the groups, but they seemed to quickly reconvene. The loitering seemed to be pretty much limited to right around the building – the rest of the area is typical city business district. The coffee shop in the lobby is closed and doesn’t appear to be reopening soon. There’s plenty of typical city noise, but a couple times a night, the police would light up their sirens immediately outside the building, and the white noise machines and earplugs were no match.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable and located in a convenient location for navigating downtown. It was bright and spacious enough for six adults. Staywell's welcome info was a huge help. Truly, concierge was an absolute delight! We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book the apartment again.
