Charm City is called such for it's wide array of neighborhoods. Each neighborhood is different in its own charming way, but IMHO Mt Vernon is the best! Walk outside and you are walking among 100+ year old brownstones. Immediately across from your house is a public park perfect for dog walking, there is the free Walters Art Museum, newly renovated Washington Monument, the Peabody Conservatory with its dramatic stairs and publicly available library -- and all this you can see from your stoop!
Walk around a bit and you can access over 20 art galleries, 30 restaurants and bars, the historic Charles Movie Theater, Peabody Library, Lyric Opera House, University of MD, MICA, and the list goes on!

Good, overall. Metallic plate over shower's drain has come off, and can be fixed with some industrial adhesive. Rear parking behind building a challenge, with its elevation and telephone pole in the middle. The owner is very outgoing, helpful, and responsive to questions or problems encountered. Since I was going everyday to Hohns Hopkins for treatment, the location was perfect, as it was about five minutes of driving up one road right to JH. It is located in a walkable neighborhood. For restaurants and food markets, Although a little rough, but the occasional panhandler is the only real annoyance.
I was there for over 9 weeks and I didn't have any problems with the place. I was also a single girl living here and I never felt unsafe. As long as you don't walk late at night, you should be fine. The apartment matches the advertised photos. It was spacious, clean, and I enjoyed my stay. It's in a nice part of town and is close to the harbor and the train station. I would recommend for short-term and long-term stays.
My daughter and I were very satisfied with the accommodations. The apartment was super clean, comfy and secure. Roman and his wife were extremely accommodating and responded immediately to texts. We were so fortunate to book the location!
Great apartment rental in mt vernon for a single gal in town for the natural food expo. 15 minute walk to the convention center or a 5 minute ride on the free charm city circulator. Nearby lots of delicious restaraunts, museums, coffee shops and gorgeous historic architecture. Apartment had everything I needed for a week long stay. Landlords super accommodating and friendly. Their company, Mt Vernon Flats, has a few of these in the neighborhood. A coworker ended up renting another gorgeous place from them across the street, because her airbnb was not ready on time and pretty dingy. Highly recommended for any traveler coming to Baltimore.
My wife and I enjoyed a trip to Baltimore, staying at the Cozy Condo and it was perfect. Will definitely be staying here the next time I return. Really close to everything we needed, restaurants, a grocery store, the farmer's market. Very comfortable and clean place. The guide to Baltimore was very useful.
Decided to travel to Baltimore on a whim after my recent appointment in DC. I did a lot of research online and Mt Vernon is the place to be if you luck culture, architecture, great food and personal safety. This place is smack in the middle of midtown, right next to the Washington Monument and the Peabody Conservatory. Daily trips to the free Walters Art Museum and downtown were easy and fun. The free charm city circulator stops right out front. The host was so amazing and helpful and even provided a handy guide with all the tips. The apartment had everything I needed. Clean sheets, lots of cookware and delicious coffee. I will gladly come back again for a fun weekend away from the capital.
