Stayed Sep 20, 2025The location was excellent for our purposes and foodstores nearby. The host was friendly and prompt in answering queries before we stayed.However, the apartment is in need of updating and its soft furnishings and carpets need a deep clean. The carpet in the front bedroom is threadbare in patches and the curtain hanging off the rail.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025On the plus side rooms are spacious and it’s in a fabulous location.Unfortunately the flat needs updating… thread bare carpet in bedroom, torn and very old curtains. Lots of stains on carpets that are in need of a deep clean. Generally the flat didn’t feel fresh and clean which was very disappointing especially as we were charged 80 for cleaning!

Stayed Apr 5, 2025The flat was in a great location just a few minutes walk from the town with all of the restaurants, pubs and shops. The front of the property overlooks the heritage steam railway. We were four adults staying for 3 nights. The flat is spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. As well as two double bedrooms (one en-suite) there are separate kitchen, dining and living rooms. If we were to visit Swanage again we would definitely book this flat.

Stayed Aug 16, 2024Perfect situation for a flat, so close to the town and beach. Flat was clean and tidy and had all necessary equipment and some extra resources eg games and books. Bedrooms very very comfortabke and it was a bright and airy flat. Didnt use the TV but dont think that gave much choice and one of sofas needs replacing really. However I would stay again as location, ease and brightness of the flat superseeded anything else.

Stayed Jun 15, 2024The house is very tall..3 floors and the apartment is on the second floor. The location is opposite the train station, that was a massive plus as we enjoyed watching the steam trains. It's literally a 5+10 minute walk to either the town or the beach. I can't over emphasize the beauty of the location. The garden is well kept and contained. The stairs are steep but that is in keeping with the age of the property, we didn't find it a problem but best to be aware. The apartment was indeed very roomy and light and airy, it didn't feel like the normal rental, it was really just like a home. Both bedrooms were roomy, one at the front and one ensuite at the back. If you need the bathroom at night,best to use the back room. The kitchen was well equipped and all in all it was a pleasure to stay here.. if we return to Swanage, we'll be back!

Stayed May 25, 2024The property is lovely and well equipped. There is a steep staircase with narrow depth stairs to the flat, which were manageable, but not ideal. There are handrails on both sides though. Great view of the station, dog friendly and close to town centre and beach. Only criticisms are lots of Nik naked which collect dust, cutlery drawer could do with a clean and a clothes horse would be useful. However beds were comfortable, lots of seating and great views. Parking space great and roomy. Would stay again.
