South Lake Chalet #7

Great location, off the main highway but very walkable. Parked our car and hardly needed it all week. It is dog friendly, and had a few episodes of dogs barking for a prolonged time. Property very clean.

Very nice and updated. Clean and simple. Bed was literally the most comfortable one we’ve ever slept on. Bedding was super clean. Communication was A . Looking forward to coming back.

Highly recommend! Great location! Cute place with a microwave and small fridge! The bed is also very comfy!!!

The place was nice, clean, and close to quite a lot for walking distance. They had some issues with the climate control inside, froze the first night, but the host is very responsive and attempted to reset it remotely. Although heated up that day, it was chilly the next night but not as bad. Again, very responsive easy to check in nice place. Would stay there again.

Everything was clean and the bed was comfy. Bathroom is up to date. It’s a small space but functional. The room was a bit hot and the air conditioning unit took hours to cool down the room at night to a comfortable sleeping temp.It would be nice to have a place to hang up clothes.

Best shower EVER at a rental!Property is well maintained, clean and well located within walk to casino’s, shopping etc. and also to the marina/beach. We appreciated the coffee and creamers and other amenities including slippers, ear plugs and sleep masks! Parking was perfect and a cute garden setting outside of our door.

Loved staying here for a date night with my girlfriend. Very close proximity to the best things South Lake Tahoe has to offer.

My husband and I met some friends at Heavenly for a day of skiing and a night out – this unit was perfect and had everything that we needed to unwind after a day on the slopes. Bed was very comfortable and shower was great! Loved having the fireplace in mini kitchen. Would highly recommend, easy walk to the gondola and fantastic dinner across the street @ Maggie’s. Will definitely be back.!

We had a wonderful stay at the South Lake Chalet. The accommodations were exactly as described- clean, unbeatable location ( easy walk right to Heavenly gondola), smooth check in, convenient kitchenette, assigned parking, access to EV chargers. The small touches such as disposable slippers /eye masks, etc. were also nice additions. Dog friendly as well which was a bonus! We absolutely would stay again. Highly recommend!

This is our 4th time staying here in the last 3 years and it has done nothing but impress everytime! We will gladly always be back when we stay in tahoe! Very close to everything. Scooters help so much to get to and from with not driving. Beds are so comfy and the fireplace in the room is always a plus especially during the cold weather we just had! Highly recommend staff is super helpful and prompt!

South Lake Chalet is our go-to option every time now in Lake Tahoe. The location is perfect, just a block away from the casinos. Everything is within walking distance. The customer service is amazing! Anything you need, they will do their best to accommodate. Check-in/check-out was a breeze. The room itself is beautiful. Our last stay was for 7-nights, I highly recommend!

The Only Issue I Had Was With The On & Off Heat, But Once I Figured Out How To Change The Setting, Everything Was Great. Accommodations Were Amazing, Room Was Nice & Clean. A Great Stay.

My husband & I were very happy with our stay at South Lake Chalet. The location was great, we walked to Heavenly Village everyday for shopping and restaurants. The room was nicely updated, cute little kitchenette and clean bathroom. Lots of thoughtful amenities & extras (earplugs & masks, makeup wipes, extra towels, etc). We had our dog with us and had no problems. Would definitely stay here again!
