Great communication before, during and after our stay. The room was exactly as advertised,!centrally located, comfortable and as an added bi is, had great water pressure!

Beautiful place!

Great location in Heavenly Village. Rooms were updated in recent years. We had easily walkable access to the lake, restaurants and shops. Easy driving access to emerald Bay hikes and views. Price of room was very reasonable. Room was smaller than picture would suggest.

A wonderful quiet cozy stay right in the heart of heavenly village within waking distance to some of the best places in Tahoe. Very comfy beds and adequate bedding nice and clean and wonderful Ac. Will definitely be staying again, worth every penny!

Property was easy to access, clean and well thought out. Only negative, the AC made a pretty loud clicking noise at night.

This property is in a great location. Very walkable to all the nearby restaurants, shops and casinos. Bed was extremely comfortable and the overall room was very cozy.

Overall, I can’t give high enough marks to the chalet. Their communication was impeccable, and the overall value was amazing. The room had everything we needed for our short stay, and they were very quick to respond when we reached out. I would highly recommend I would give more than five stars if possible.

We will definitely go back. We would like to take advantage of the Chalet and the proximity to going to a concert located behind Harvey’s. All in a very short walk. No parking fee on site is a plus too. Super cute and definitely comfortable.

Great value

This is our fourth time staying at South Lake Chalet. It’s very clean, quiet, and the staff is very quick to reply and very accommodating to any requests. It’s close to town, within walking distance, and close to Lakeside Park Beach. This year we came to new & beautiful landscaped entryway at South Lake Chalet with a small little creek and waterfall that makes it a little more private and quaint. We tell all our friends about it as this is our favorite place to stay in Tahoe. We will be back soon!

We had a great time staying at the South Lake Chalet :) The king bed is comfortable, the amenities are great, and the rooms are modern, clean and comfortable!

We had a great time in Tahoe! The condo is a perfect room right in the heart of the base camp. would definitely stay again.

Beautiful room and very accommodating host!

Nice, clean little place. I’ve stayed here a couple of times and plan on staying here again in the future. You can’t beat the location - it’s within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Although, there are a lot of hotels nearby, it is quiet and the rooms are recessed which helps minimize traffic noise.

Exceeded expectations

Loved the comfort and cleanness of the room. I booked this room for a surprise getaway for my husband and I he was very happy with the place and felt very comfortable.

Exceptional value. Motel vibe on the outside but clean, easy parking and over delivered in nearly every way.

We had such an amazing stay at this location! The room was exactly as pictured. It was very clean and everything was eco friendly which was a nice plus. We will definitely be coming back and we can’t wait to do so! Thank you for an amazing stay!! :)
