We had a nice stay. The apartment is a nice size. Check in was easy with outside door code and code to get into the apartment. The apartment is in a nice location close to Reading market and lots of places to eat. The description of the apartment is accurate, so I would recommend reading it carefully. It is overtop of a night club which gets noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. I noticed not as loud on Sunday. I would guess this is true the rest of the week too. White noise maker in bedroom does help some. This was not an issue for us, but I was glad we were aware ahead of time. If you are bringing a car, the link in the description for Parking Hero was helpful for getting a spot overnight.

Easy & accurate check in - convenient reasonable paid parking nearby. Had everything needed. Clean - well laid out - city living. Busy night below - but was able to block out noise. Just wish there were better dining choices in immediate area - had to walk several blocks for better dining choices. Overall good location and sleeping quarters

I was really happy with the place. We had a small hiccup with the check in code but after a brief phone call it was fixed and had no further issues from there on out. This will def be on my list of places to stay as I’m in Philly quite often.

We rented this unit because it's in Chinatown where my relatives live so it was an easy 5 minute walk to their house. Here's my pro-con list: PROs: Walking distance to historical district, Chinatown, Phila Convention Ctr, Reading Terminal Market, Rittenhouse, etc. Air conditioning, washer/dryer, kitchen, authentic Street fighter arcade game, smart tv, wifi, property manager very responsive via text/ phone call CONs: Above a hookah lounge/ night club so loud at night but we were able to sleep even with the booming music. Steep staircase so must be able to carry your luggage. Apt door code didn't work (had to call mgr), only 3 glasses/spoons/forks in the kitchen, linens/underwear/sock left in dryer (texted property mgr who sent hospitality mgr over with more utensils and glasses but forgot to address laundry). Dishes left in dishwasher... Unsure if they were clean so I hand washed the utensils and distress we used before using them. Noticed broken glass on floor after hospitality mgr came (thankfully we didn't get cut and were able to sweep it up). shower gel dispenser empty, no bath mat or hand towels ( I later found these in the dryer). Kitchen and linens should have been ready and in place for us upon check in and not need me to hunt around for things.

I will start with the positives which include the location, decor, and general setup or layout of the apartment. With that said, the apartment is above a nightclub that was pounding out music so loud that you could feel it vibrating in the couch. The kitchen had hardly any amenities with very few cooking, eating, or drinking supplies. Forget finding a corkscrew. Bare minimum in the kitchen. Pretty tough if you like cooking which is a big draw for us in getting VRBO’s to begin with. The dishwasher was not even connected to the countertops. So when you pulled a tray out to load it, you better not pull it out too far or the entire dishwasher would tip forward. There were no knobs on the cabinets or drawers in the kitchen which made it a pain to open anything in the kitchen. I think the big finish was finding a used needle and syringe on top of the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. When we called management, no one rushed over to clean or dispose of the needle. Just got an apology and a $50 credit. The microwave did not work. The electrical panel was open when we got there. The breaker for the microwave was tripped. We reset it, but every time you started the microwave, it just tripped the breaker again. We notified the owner about this and they responded by saying they would bring another microwave that we never saw. I am not sure if this is a new listing or a new property manager, but there definitely needs some work and disclosure about the noise even on weeknights.

Not so perfect. Windows don’t close in the bedroom so we can hear neighbor air conditioning all night long. Microwave not working so cold food two nights in a row. Not enough knives, forks and spoons first dinner so we had to share them within the family. Sorry but for the price paid we could expect better.

This was the first time organizing a stay on my own and I must say, I’m glad I chose to stay here. Everything looked just like the pictures and I felt very cozy and at home. The property manager also stayed in contact and constantly checked up on me. Overall, I enjoyed my stay a lot and I’d definitely book here again! :)
