Sonoran Desert Retreat with amazing Mountain views

A little bit of paradise

We had a wonderful stay at Charlene and David’s. The house is decorated beautifully with all the amenities of home and then some. The Mountain View’s were breathtaking morning and night!! Thank you for a great stay.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Tucson! The home was just as pictured and described, although no picture can really do justice to the view of the Santa Catalina mountains. There were great bike rides right from the house, many nearby disc golf courses, and plenty of things to do in Tucson and the surrounding area. We were there for a month and didn't get to everything on our list. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

Charming unit with desert view. Bobcat the first morning, Gambel’s quail everyday! Internet wasn’t robust enough for zoom calls. Char and David were great!

We loved the views from the patio & the hummingbirds! Charlene & David we’re very helpful & fun to talk with. Charlene even helped me find a dentist to talk with. We had a great time staying at their lovely home.

We had such a wonderful experience at Char and Dave’s VRBO. It is so private, with beautiful views of the mountains and the yard is your personal desert retreat. Each day we were entertained by the Gambril quails and hummingbirds as they visited the feeders. We were lucky enough to have seen a bobcat, hawks and a javelina family during our stay as well. Although you’ll feel like you are in the middle of the desert there is a grocery store less than 10 minutes away. Restaurants are also within 30 minutes or less. You can get to Sugauro East National Park within 10 minutes. We like to hike and it was great to have many hikes to choose from—some in the park and some an hour or so away in Oro Valley or Sabina Canyon. Char has a wealth of information about things to do and places to eat. We can’t wait to come back!

Friendly, knowledgeable hosts who provided wonderful recommendations for food and sightseeing and Tucson life. Apartment was comfortable, well equipped with a beautiful patio, yard and view. Close to hiking, groceries and restaurants. Can’t wait to come back.

The property is fabulous and looks exactly like the pictures. This was our first experience with VRBO and we rate is AAA++. Charlene was friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this unique property !

Staying at Charlene and David's place made for a wonderful get-away. And they even arranged for a whole month of perfect weather!! They were great hosts, responding to our every need.
