This was a pleasant location for our group with one exception. On arrival, the very pungent and overpowering odor of PineSol hit us. My wife is sensitive to artificial fragrances, so we had to quickly open all the windows and set the cleaning bucket and mop outside for the remainder of our stay to reduce the odor. I'm not fragrant sensitive, but I found the odor to be pretty obnoxious also. The combination of AC and opening windows and doors made the rest of the night tolerable. My wife avoided using the towels provided since they contained fabric softener fragrances. Beware of the dangers artificial fragrances pose to many people!! The new cleaning agents and fabric softeners are health and respiratory hazards to many people!

Everything was good only issue was the wifi was not working it would and then it wouldn't probably a service company issue other than that very nice place to stay

Not only was Janet’s home welcoming and the perfect place to escape to. It has amazing views and was incredibly clean. Janet didn’t miss any detail, the stocked coffee bar, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were incredible touches. She even had toys and books that were age appropriate for our kid. Janet went above and beyond and if I ever find myself coming to GA again, I know exactly where I’m staying. Thanks again so much!

Very pet friendly, clean and comfortable, well stocked kitchen, can walk out the back door directly into the WMA door for a wonderful walk to the Blue Hole and other trails. Beautiful area!

Amenities

My friends and I stayed one night on our way to Chattanooga. The Blue Hole was perfect for us as it included 4 bedrooms. Everyone was able to have their own room. It was very clean and spacious. The amenities were great.

Great place in LaFayette. We had a short stay but the home was very clean and well equipped. Will stay there again if in the area. Janet, the host, was very helpful and quick to answer questions.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Janet's. It was easy to find and the check in instructions were excellent. The property was as advertised. The kitchen was fully equipped. Janet responded promptly to my questions. I highly recommend it.

Great location

My husband & I stayed here with our pups during Christmas. This location was very affordable. The host was communicative and kind. Much appreciated!! The backyard view is truly the selling point. I saw some reviews saying that the interstate traffic was loud, because the property is right there. It really wasn't that bad & I'm a light sleeper. If binging your furry friend. Keep your dog/dogs on a leash & stay in the back area. They will be perfectly safe. There's an open area, as you explore the back lot, across the gravel road, where you can play fetch with your dogs and allow them to have some freedom. There is a very small amount of traffic that comes by on that road, so it's up to you if you want to unleash your dog. Possibly because of the time of year that we visited, La Fayette was very quiet. We loved the Great American Coffee Company as well as Toki Sushi & Steakhouse. Rock City was close as well as Chattanooga! It's a little bit of a drive but well worth your time and your visit. Great spot to spend some time!

We came to visit family for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. Janet is a great host and has a coffee cart set up for guests. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

As my son just said, loved the view. Four bedrooms for 4 adults was perfect. Every bed was comfy. I slept all nite which is not the usual for me. Also, had my dog with me. He loved the yard. Dog bowls and bed were provided which was very nice. Most of all the four of us agree that the home was super clean! Very much appreciated! We wanted to be in a place that we could hike nearby and make it to Ruby Falls as well. This fit the bill. The property is right off the highway so access is easy and still a super quiet location. Loved the views from the home. Host was tremendous. We had everything we needed and host provided great coffee, too. Host eas very responsive.

It was a nice place to stay that could accommodate 7 people.

So many extras in this rental. They thought of everything! Beds are really comfortable. Rental is very clean and comfortable. Manager reached out to ensure we had everything we needed.
