Follow the directions for everything and you’ll be just fine. Sounds like the property managers have listened to the reviews/concerns. We had a good stay and would stay again! Check out Banksia Bakehouse while you’re there!
I wanted to love this place but there was so much that could have been done better. First off you should be very upfront about the “paid parking “. You guys were NOT honest about how that really worked. For a four day stay, I paid 160!!!! You did not disclose if you leave and come back that 16 a day charge starts over. After speaking with the security, Sleepover is the only management company that does not include a parking pass. That’s pretty bad. Next, there were NO extra linens and our bedspread was STAINED. Thankfully we had brought an extra blanket. Three wash clothes were provided for a four day stay. Yes, there was a washer and dryer but no detergent to do laundry. I went and bought detergent so I could wash them, however, the dryer doesn’t work. After 3 hours of drying one small load of laundry, I gave up and hung the items to dry. Coffee pot had molded coffee in it. Dishwasher had dirty dishes still in it from previous guest. Dishes in the cabinet were dirty. No oven mittens to get things out of the oven. I had to use the one hand towel for the kitchen. There was no cleaning supplies other than dish soap. One trash bag was provided for a four day stay. We met another couple that was also staying in a Sleepover unit. They had the same complaints. It’s a great unit but Sleepover should be more upfront and more accommodating.
Great place to stay. Everything was perfect!
The location was excellent for all of the things we wanted to do in downtown KC! The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and comfortable. It’s got a minimalist feel with clean white walls and minimal furnishings but it had everything we needed for the few hours we spent lounging and hanging out each day. Also, with a streetcar stop right outside the door, it was exceptionally convenient for everything from the RiverMarket to Crown Center! For the price, this was such an excellent deal for our weekend trip to KC!
This was a cute place to stay and location was nearby lots of restaurants and things to do. It was clean and had everything we needed ! The bed was very cozy! The game room was really nice on the property and security made it feel very safe. If I had to give any suggestions to improve maybe some bigger/nicer towels would be helpful for showering and a mirror in the bedroom- only mirror to get ready was the small one over the sink in the bathroom. Highly recommend this cute condo! Thanks for sharing with us!
Location was great. The free Tram stop is located just outside the building, that takes you up and down Main St., so it was super convenient. We found a couple of places to eat, right around the corner, and both of them were great. Though it was cold and wet this past weekend, we had a great time in Kansas City!
Check in process what confusing as you couldn’t get into the building until someone came to the door to let you in or you call the number on the door and hope the security guard is at the desk, you can’t just walk in. Apartment was nice, there were a few issues with cleanliness but I don’t blame the host, I blame the cleaning company, I brought up issues to host and they thanked me for bringing to their attention and will talk with the cleaning company. The complex is huge, and so fun, with lots to offer! So much to do if you just want to stay in or explore! Fantastic location, no traffic or hoards of people in the MIDDLE of the city on a weekend. It was a literal dream! It was fun to watch the street cars go by, and people watch. I love the city so much, I’m excited to come back and see more.
The place was great. Comfortable and convenient. CVS right across the street for quick snacks. Short walk to the excitement at Power & Light. The parking garage on the Baltimore side was closed. Check in was tricky. Best advise, go to the 10th street entrance. Security will buzz you right in a gladly help. They are super nice. I give it a definite 5 stars. We will book again. Go CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!
Great stay, very clean, a little confusing getting in, but only because it’s a very secure place to stay!
The location of the rental property was perfect. Walking distance to many places, or the tram stopped right in front of the property. The inside was clean, spacious and sound proof from outside noise. To locate the lockbox for the keys was a little tricky, but as long as you read the well explained instructions it was easy. The only issue we had was the card to enter the building was cracked. It initially worked, but stopped working right before we were going out for the night. (The security guard on duty was very helpful) And we were left with 1 partial roll of toilet paper for the whole weekend. I would definitely stay at this rental again.
I agree with other reviews, the checkin process was complicated and difficult. Parking was also confusing and difficult esp after hours. The property itself was nice with fun amenities in the building. There were a few things lacking, including proper bedding for the sleeper couch (very uncomfortable to sleep on) and no laundry detergent despite having washer/dryer in the unit. The street was very noisy all thru the night making it difficult to sleep. The location was great for being close to P&L activities and there are nice nearby food choices, but several agitated and yelling homeless folks that made going and coming seem unsafe, esp at night. Not sure the good outweighs the bad for this spot.
We stayed here for 4 nights. The property is awesome. Location is great. We will stay heee again next year for sure.
First, I’d like to say I reached out to the owner multiple times in the last week, and they never responded to any of my questions or concerns. As others have indicated, the check-in process was overly complicated and confusing. One thing I was surprised by once I was able to get into the apartment is that the giant windows are almost at street level, so there’s no privacy, and it’s particularly loud (trams stop right in front of the windows every few minutes, ringing bells each time). The worst part was that I was woken up in the middle of the night by people banging on the door asking if anyone was staying there. They were about to come in (it seemed they had keys), when I got to the door to tell them there was indeed someone there. There were a number of other really unpleasant aspects of my stay: The door to the bathroom does not latch shut. The only toilet paper in the apartment was a near empty roll, laying on the floor of the bathroom when I arrived. I had to go buy toilet paper for a one night stay. The bedding did not look or feel clean. I was parked in the attached garage for approximately 12 hours, and it cost $16. I would have parked on the street, but there weren’t any spots open anywhere close. I highly recommend finding somewhere else to stay.
I highly recommend this property. Location is a 6 minute walk to Power and Light district. The cable car stops at the front door and the apartment, game room, 24 hour security staff and work out room were all superb. We did have great difficulty finding the lockers and opening lock box initially to retrieve the key. Highly recommend this place!
Place is so cute and perfectly located. I wish the check in instructions were in the app and not just in an email bc we got in late and had Wi-Fi issues getting to the email. It’s a process to get in and get the keys etc but other than that it was perfect!
This was an ideal location for our concert at the Midland. Wonderful restaurants right next door and a short walk to power and lights. We disliked the cleanliness of the actual condo. Dirt in every corner, vanity drawer falling off and TONS of finger and hand prints smeared all over the glass partitions. None of this effected our short stay, but if these items were changed I would have given 5 stars. We also had to unplug a wall fragrance plug that was overwhelming when we first arrived in the small space. I would recommend an air purifier or something natural in its place.
Property was as expected. The location is great - right on the KC Street Car line. Bed is comfy.
Best time!!
