Room itself was really nice. Great views and corner unit with kitchen. However access was a bit confusing. The parking situation is paid and about $16 a day (that was not clear). Parking is not free on the street it is coin and 2 hour limit. Supposedly there was an amenities card but we did not receive one. The gym was nice but only reason I got access was because someone propped the door open. Upon arriving there were only two tiny towels and one was dirty/stained. No hand soap was provided. The owner did provide new towels but not until late the next day. The bed was the worst part of this rental. Completely saggy and bowed in the middle.
When my partner and I initially tried checking in, the code given to us to open the garage door was not working. This was the only way to get in and get our keys to the unit. I contacted the host asking if the code had changed and they simply told me that was the code. They couldn’t further help me. So we had to go bang on the door to get the security guard’s attention who luckily let us in so we were able to get the keys. Once we got in, each set of directions given were the opposite of how you were actually supposed to follow them, which was super confusing and frustrating. Then, once we got into the apartment, we were trying to find WiFi. There was no instructions that we were given or any info in the apartment for WiFi. I messaged the host and they sent me the WiFi and password, only for the router to not be set up. When I told them this they said they would try to get it fixed right away and I never heard back the entire weekend. Overall the apartment was clean and fine, but very frustrating with how our trip started and the hosts not being able to assist with our issues. Will not be returning,
We can’t wait to return.
Apartment was very clean and looked just like the pics. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! Great location! Will definitely stay here again!
Loved my stay, I watched my daughter’s volleyball tournament at the convention center which was an easy walk or you could take the trolley to decrease the distance. A bit tricky to get the key to the door to work initially, turn right not left as the direction says to get the door to open.
We got off to a rough start at this property. It is a secured building and there is a process of getting access keys that involves a lock box in the parking garage. Unfortunately, I had the wrong code for the lockbox. And despite what the instructions say, turn the apartment key to the right and not to the left. Fortunately, the property manager was very responsive and the on-site security staff were very helpful. But it did take over an hour from the time we entered the garage to the time we entered the apartment. I highly recommend this location. There is a trolley stop a few feet from the Main Street entrance. The trolley provides access (at no charge) to River Market, Power & Light, Crossroads and Union Station. The apartment is very comfortable. It has a kitchen with some cooking equipment. The bed was great. It was a great place to come back to after exploring the Main Street corridor.
As soon as I sat on the bed (i'm not overweight) the metal bars that hold the frame broke. I immediately messaged the host with no response (3x). We slept on the bed anyway and what a bad idea. The bed sunk in so bad, we would end up on the middle. No sleep and no response in the morning. I looked up to contact Sleepover and did get a someone to answer. Told him the issue, and said he would send someone over. We left for the day, returned at 4 with no repairs attempted. I did mention that the kitchen cabinets were extremely dirty and he send housekeeping, but they expected her to make the repair. She told us that she told the management co. that the bed needs to be replaced. My husband found some tools from a friendly gentleman at the security desk. Could not repair due to the stripped holes for the screws, from other failed attempted repairs. NO response from Sleepover to us after I messaged on when a repair would be done. So we left and stayed at the very nice, clean and helpful Marriott a couple of blocks away. After a couple of hours, he did message saying someone would TRY to repair it. TOO LATE! We disputed the charges and Am/EX is taking care of it. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND SLEEPOVER INC
This space was exactly as advertised. It was a phenomenal location with easy access to city car. Check in procedures with garage, lock box, etc was pretty confusing. But when I reached out to them, they jumped in and helped me out. The biggest critiques I have are that the furniture looked nice but was cheap and not super comfortable. And the space lacks a number of basic amenities. Cooking was a challenge without cutting board or any sort of mixing bowls. Additionally, there were no pot holders or hand towels in the kitchen. I had to use bath linens to help in the kitchen. There were no paper towels provided. There was only a quarter roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. There was also no cleaning supplies (dishwasher detergent, etc) to clean up after myself. Spending $200 or so would right most of these (except the furniture).
