The Jolly Boat is a delightful apartment for two people. It is one of seven apartments in Seapoint, a Victorian building perched high above the sea on the edge of Port Isaac. It is modern, sunny, light and airy and makes a lovely retreat for two people all year round. It is well placed, being within easy walking distance of Port Isaac village and harbour, beautiful Port Gaverne cove and pub and the coffee shops, gift shop and restaurants at the top of the village. There is free private parking directly outside - a real bonus in Port Isaac where parking can be almost impossible, especially in high season.

The Jolly Boat overlooks the communal garden at the back from the bedroom and has a view across towards the hills from the living room. There are no sea views from the flat itself, but as soon as you step out of the building you are facing the sea, with dramatic views across to Port Gaverne. You can take the chairs and small tables from the communal area at the front of Seapoint and place them on the area directly overlooking the sea to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine.
There is a large communal garden at the back where you will find a clothes line for drying clothes, towels, wetsuits etc.

    I chose this property because of the advertised views over Port Gaverne, and it did not disappoint! I was originally planning to stay at the property by myself, but then my dad decided to come along. The owners were very kind and made arrangements for two sets of linens (beware, they are not included in the rental price!) so that we could also use the pullout couch. I slept very comfortably there for all 7 nights of our stay. The rental was small and cozy but had everything we needed, and once we found the direct walking path up the hill to the Co-op, we were set! Be advised that this rental is about as far from the harbor in Port Isaac as you can possibly get (and uphill the whole way) but the parking sport was super convenient and we loved feeling like we were on top of the world. We pulled the communal table and chairs out pretty much every night of our stay, enjoying a drink as we looked out toward Tintagel and watched the sun go down. Owners were so lovely and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again next time we are in PI! Highly recommend for a solo traveler or pair of family members or friends.

    On the outskirts of Port Isaac with Port Gavene just a few hundred yards away and with a dedicated parking space made this an ideal location to explore this part of the Cornish coastline. The first floor flat was really nice - bijou - but perfect for a couple, but it was the location that really made this holiday and we were so lucky to have a week of perfect weather

    Wonderful property. Well stocked with all amenities. Great walking location to village. Hills though. Helps walk off all the great food in PI. Good communication & easy check in. Loved our stay at Jolly Boat.

    The property was excellent. It had everything one needed for our stay, it was clean and fully equipped. We found however the process of locating the property quite frustrating. Not the instructions from the owners but the fact that we would have had to wait 3 days before our stay from yourselves. This was extremely frustrating and we will not be using this system again. We did eventually communicate with the owners who were extremely helpful and we would have liked to have had this facility at the beginning.

    The apartment is just the right size for 2 people and has everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Amenities are within walking distance (the town of Port Isaac is a steep downhill walk and what goes down must come back up ;) ) so make sure you wear the right shoes. Port Gaverne beach, which is right in front of the apartment, is great for some relaxation as Port Isaac is very touristy and busy in the summer. I would definitely come back here.

    Very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped- everything you could possibly need! Tastefully furnished and decorated. Light and sunny lounge/ diner. Nice place to sit out in the sun in the evening, and an allocated car space. Great location for a short walk into Port Isaac, or Port Gaverne, or the coastal path.

    Had a lovely stay the flat was on the SWCP, which is why we had selected it. As we had gone down to walk 2 sections of the path. It was like home from home.
