Our unit was nice! Only frustrating thing is that you don’t get access to the buildings parking lot. Building also has a different name than what is listed.

The host responded quickly to problems we noted the first night. After that the amenities were good excepting the lack of tv remote. Especially appreciative of the KC tram being so close to the property.

The heater was not working - the temperature in KC was below freezing the weekend we had reserved. Luckily, there was a space heater, but I felt very unsafe leaving it on while we slept. Outside window was open when we arrived. We message the host about the heater but did not hear back until the next day. The bed was very uncomfortable. Stains on sheet and one pillowcase was missing - we could not find extra linen. As mentioned in previous reviews, the smell of pot in the hallway was overwhelming. Although the door had a deadbolt, there was a gap around the door frame from which we could see outer hallway light. We left after one night, even though we had 2 nights reserved.

This lovely little space was just what I needed for a week-long conference in the city and didn't cost me an arm and a leg like the hotels in town. It was a quick and easy drive into the city. I appreciated the kitchen with all the supplies and equipment needed for some basic meals, including the full-size refrigerator. Angie keeps a clean and comfortable space. I had a minor problem with some lights. Angie responded to my needs and got things resolved in good time. Only reason for not 5 stars has to do with location and parking challenges. The apartment building that holds the apartment is a bit old and run down. Street parking was a bit of a challenge, especially when I returned later in the evening and could only find spaces on the street behind the building and left to walk a distance from my vehicle. If I ever return to KC, I'll come back to Angie's Simple Plaza Comfort.

My husband and I stayed one night and it was alright, maybe we ate not used to studio spaces. Tried to ask owner about where sponges were at because there were none so we couldn't do dishes (no dishwasher), they never answered, we had to go buy one... The no parking thing can be annoying if you have to walk a couple blocks back and forth with stuff

Our room was very clean and great location. great communication. The pictures are accurate, however, I didn't realize when looking at the bed it was a day bed and that you could only get in and out from one side. My partner and I are older and the bed is low to the ground and we both use the bathroom at night so whoever slept on the inside had to climb over the other person to go to the bathroom. It became quite comical. The other down side is the building has a very strong stench of marijuana. But our room was very clean and the location and price and host were awesome. I think though this room is best for one person or 2 younger people.

Small and tight with lots of personality. The street car construction makes it a real pain to enter, exit and park.

I’d like to say how great the owner of this property was. She addressed any questions I had very quickly and was extremely helpful. The building was a little bit dingy but the actual apartment was very cute. It was clean and had everything I needed while I was there. There is some construction going on around the building which makes it a little more difficult to get to. Overall it was a very nice stay. Thank you so much!

When we entered the common hallway to the apartment we were met with a strong smell of marijuana smoke. The place has a very musty dingy odor, very loud and erratic sounding mini-split AC unit, noisy neighbors above, road construction right at the front of the building, and no parking closer than two blocks away. There was also no area to unload our things any closer than where we parked. The location isn't bad situated only two block from Country Club Plaza. We could have booked a room at the intercontinental for the same price less than two miles away. Overall disappointing. Will not book again on return trips.

The room was lovely. Small challenges about black out curtains were discussed with owner. The building is a little dicey in an area in transition and not in the heart of Southmoreland.
