Sandcastle Inn #602 - Downtown Apartment!

My husband did not realize this was a pet friendly room. Upon walking in we were hit by the smell of strong urine and 'wet dog' smell. Even though the room looked clean when we pulled down the murphy bed the mattress side was covered in urine multiple urine strains and there was feces behind main entrance door. I suffer with migraines and part of the triggers is strong smells like this. Very dissappointing! We left on the next morning.

Very convenient location

This propeety is love! I usually don’t leave reviews but this property is close to perfection. Not quite - the amenities- but serves the purpose. Clean and quaint. We had a complimentary doggie treat and a full bag of their local Sleepy Monk coffee beans! Yum! Nice touch! This place is a delightf. I will definitely use this the next time I am in Cannon Beach! Oh and the customer service is responsive and excellent! One of the best properties in Expedia! Kudos!

Property is as advertised. Excellent beach access (one block walk; shorter distance and more accessible than from the beachfront Hallmark resort, for example). Location is great for accessing either end of Cannon Beach. Pig 'N Pancake, Bill's Tavern, Mariner Market are easy walks in one direction, as are shops in the other direction. Internet access was frustratingly inconsistent, but that might be a function of the local infrastructure. Bedroom has little space for moving around. Didn't like the leaf-blowing in the parking lot after a rainstorm; not putting up with such noise should be a benefit of being on vacation. It's Oregon in the autumn ... rain and leaves happen and the parking lot didn't need to be leaf-free immediately.

Bed was so uncomfortable we were sleep deprived the entire stay.

One of the lamps in the living room is flickering, so we stopped using it. Good coffee provided. Would be nice to have some sweetener and or cream available.

This was a good location and a good unit for a short stay. Had small kitchen with supplies. Very clean. Longer stay would have been more difficult without closets of any kind and also no laundry at complex.I asked if a hose could be brought to the complex so I could rinse my dog after being at the beach but they never got back to me.I found a dog wash station next to the Surf Sand which was very lovely with warm water but not always convenient.

This is a prime location and quieter than you would expect at night. An easy walk to the dunes and beach. Place was clean and well-equipped and parking easy.

Well cared for though older interior. Grateful for the cleanliness! Found all the stuff we needed to prep our simple meals. Wifi worked for a video call meeting. Wish the couch had been longer for our fourth family member since my adult kids didn't want to share the Murphy bed.

Property was short walking distance to the beach, restaurants, local shops. The beach was absolutely breathtaking! Property had most things we needed minus a washer/dryer. That is my only complaint. And we didn’t see a laundromat anywhere in Cannon Beach. To do laundry, you would have to drive up to Seaside. We will definitely visit again!
