Stayed Sep 19, 2024The apartment is quite adequate for two or three people. The kitchen is not large but has the essentials. The refrigerator is larger than an under counter model but the freezer is only 6 inches high. There is a washing machine but no electric dryer. The dryer in the listing is a rack on which to spread wet clothes. The bedroom is large enough. The queen-size bed is comfortable, if a bit firm. The armoire is large enough for a vacation. Better lamps and darker drapes would help. The attached shower room has a good sized shower. There is a significant step up into it. The living room furniture is serviceable, neither especially comfortable nor uncomfortable. The toilet compartment is adjacent to the kitchen, a bit claustrophobic and not convenient to the bedroom. The apartment is usable if not impressive. It is good but not great. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood, (though an energetic child lives upstairs) somewhat distant from major attractions. There are two useful bus stops within 100 yards. Within a quarter mile, there are two Metro lines and more bus lines. Virtually every spot in Paris is accessible from one of them directly or with only one transfer. Also within 200 yards, there are several reasonably priced (for Paris) restaurants, three supermarkets (one literally next door) and two boulangeries. The Luxembourg Garden is close and a lovely place to spend leisure time among Parisians. The location is good but too far from most activities to be great.

Stayed Sep 6, 2023This quiet and charming apartment is well laid out with the living room, alcove, and kitchen windows facing an enclosed and bright parklike garden. The bedroom window faces an enclosed yard. The bathroom and kitchen are spacious and modern. The kitchen appliances are also modern - the owners provide a binder containing instruction manuals for all of them. The apartment is well laid out and spacious overall. The public areas of the building, including the elevators, are well maintained. The location is terrific with the west/central entrance to the Luxembourg Gardens a Paris block away, Monoprix, Carrefour, and Franprix markets are all on various places on the block, and the neighborhood is full of cafes, bistros, patisserie’s, and anything else you might need. Very well located for walking to the Odeon, Latin Quarter and Ste. Germain des Pres areas. We had a wonderful stay and Toyoko and Claude at Home Rental were always helpful and responsive. Special kudos to our day to day contact Toyoko. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stayed Mar 3, 2023Terrific location.. loved the feel of the complex… easy and safe . Perfect for 3 people. Kitchen had everything. However, the wash machine did not dry even though it stated on the info that they had a dryer. The red rug in the photo is old and we tripped a few times. I’d replace.. The bed was comfortable. Shower was great. Grocery store downstairs and the best boulangerie around the corner. It is in the area of the universities so lots of affordable eating places. I wish it were mine!,,

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were well taken care of by Home Rental Service. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The apartment was what we expected, based on the photos. Having a nice supermarket downstairs made shopping for groceries so easy. There are so many wonderful sights that are only a few blocks awayLuxembourg Gardens, St. Sulpice, etc. Not to mention a wide variety of restaurants. During the day, the neighborhood is filled with students from the nearby schools but at night, it's quiet. The mattress in the main bedroom is worn out and uncomfortable to sleep on, especially on the side near the living room.
