Stayed Oct 16, 2023Minty Living property management is terrible. It began fine. I searched for a small house so i could bring my dog while i work a job in Atlanta. I clicked the no pet fee option on vrbo. The day before my trip i got a text for $189.00 in pet fees. I decided not to bring my dog, and asked that they remove the fees. And they did. The day before my trip i received another text and they asked for my photo id and a selfie. So i accommodated. I was declined because my photo id is from years ago and now i shave my head. It eventually worked out after some back and forth. A few hours before i had to leave to drive, i got a text for a security deposit. As soon as i filled it out and sent, i got a text saying do not worry about the text. At that point it was too late. I have a feeling they knew they already got it. I told them i had sent it already. They said dont worry it is only a hold and my card WILL NOT BE CHARGED. Not only did they charge it.... they charged me twice. Now I'm out $1000 to which they say. Its ok, it will be refunded 2 days after check out. After going back and forth via text because i am extremely angry and disappointed with my first ever booking experience, i learn the process begins 2 days after check out and the money will be back in my account 7-10 business days AFTER the 2 days post check out. They put me in a very bad situation financially for 4 days as i am supposed to get materials for my crews to work if they need, i could not. Don't trust them
