Description

This lovely studio property has been described as ‘one of the most romantic properties’ at Borgo di Vagli. Set to one side at the edge of the hamlet, the property enjoys complete privacy and peace, with unbroken breathtaking views over the wonderful scenery, hills and down to the 10th Century castle of Pierle. The cottage has a private wisteria covered terrace, with round wooden table and chairs, from which to soak in the panorama and tranquillity.

The studio is completelydetached and was once the hay loft for the hamlet. Now, it contains a wonderful open plan room, with large windows and doors creating lovely natural light. The interior is full of character, with traditional features, antique Tuscan furniture and warm terracotta coloured lime-washed walls, combined with a wonderful sense of style and comfort.

The open plan studio has a large double bed with carved frame to one side, covered in a fresh yellow spread and an array of cushions. The dining area is set to the left and has an antique wooden table and chairs, with beautiful views through the large ‘fienile’ style window. There is a frescoed wardrobe for hanging space and storage.

The country kitchen is set at the end of the room and fully fitted with hand crafted wooden cupboards and cut stone ‘pietra serena’ sink and work surface. It is extremely well equipped with charming hand painted Bizzarri crockery and all utensils.

The bathroom is set through a doorway to the left, with bath and a fresh yellow hand painted bathroom cabinet, perfectly complimented with a Carrera marble oval sink surround.
