Romantic Getaway Sevilla City Center 2 pax

Location was great, although the street was too narrow for a vehicle to drive up to the door … which was part of the charm. The apartment is close to everything and you can hear church bells ring throughout the day. A gelato store was just a few steps from the front door. The apartment was spacious for the two of us and had everything we needed. The high bar counter in the kitchen was a little odd, since the bar stools were too short.

This apartment is perfectly located half way between the Cathedral and the El Salvador church (you can see both from the balcony) and a few minutes from the Plaza Neuva. The pedestrian street it is on has nice shops and feels very safe to walk around. You can easily walk anywhere from it. It looks great in the photos but it lacks a few things which means it’s not quite 5 star. It has a full size fridge and lots of crockery, but there’s no sharp knife except for a bread knife, no proper corkscrew, no salad bowl and no strainer which makes even doing a light lunch or cooking pasta a challenge. Some of the plates are on such a high shelf I couldn’t reach them and I am tall. The airconditioner is very noisy - I couldn’t sleep with it on - which would be a challenge if it’s very hot or very cold. There’s no table so you have to eat at the bench so you have to put the stools in the kitchen unless you want to look at the fridge, which is inconvenient. Also the bench is so high your plate is right at chest level. Maria was helpful and showed me where all the main places were on the map. However I had told her what time I would arrive, which was a bit early, and she said she would be there when I arrived, however she then asked that I wait for 45 minutes. This wasn’t a serious problem for me, but it is a communication issue which could affect other people.
