Colmar, city of art, history, and heritage: Despite the vagaries of a tumultuous history, the city has managed to preserve an exceptional homogeneity of its historic center, which, classified as a safeguarded sector, has benefited from permanent restoration and enhancement. The vast pedestrian zone of the old town allows visitors to admire the countless riches of a heritage as rich as it is varied, ranging from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. Whether it is the House of Heads (erected at the beginning of the 17th century) which owes its name to the 111 heads that adorn its facade, or the Pfister House, a beautiful bourgeois residence from the Renaissance period but of medieval design, each of its monuments is unique in its kind. Colmar's religious art is also very rich: the Dominican Church, which houses the famous Virgin of the Rose Bush by the Alsatian painter and engraver Martin Schongauer, as well as the Saint Martin Collegiate Church, are wonderful examples of pure and sober Gothic art, of great simplicity. Wandering through the streets, the visitor, amazed, discovers the numerous and beautiful signs, the roofs with shimmering colors... Strolling along the Fishmongers' Quay, formerly the nerve center of fishing and fish sales, one falls under the charm of this picturesque district, now called Little Venice.



House rule:

This apartment and all common areas are non-smoking. The use of cigarettes, e-cigarettes, hookahs, and any other smoking device is strictly prohibited.

Smoking or using a smoking device will result in a penalty of €250 in additional cleaning fees.



Animals are not allowed.



Bed and bath linen, as well as the standard final cleaning at the end of the stay, are included in the price. This includes changing the bed linen, a general cleaning of the apartment and sanitary facilities.

However, it is up to you to clean and put away the dishes, take out the trash, empty the refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and tidy up inside the apartment. If you do not wish to do this, you can order an additional complete cleaning of the apartment for 30 euros before your arrival. In the absence of prior booking of this option, and in case of non-compliance with these instructions, penalties of 60€ for cleaning fees will be charged to you.



A digital contract signature and your ID will be requested after booking, as well as the information for the police form, in accordance with current regulations. If the identity of the people present during the stay does not match that of the reservation, we reserve the right to deny you access to the accommodation.

    This property was not as advertised and is not well maintained. Pictures make it feel cozy and cute. It’s cold and not very welcoming. Property management was not quickly responsive and very difficult to communicate with. This property only has ONE true bathroom. Only one toilet in the entire apartment. If you are traveling as a family this may be acceptable, but a for a group of four adults it was not. Fold out couch downstairs is in a cold, creepy space down a tight spiral staircase, likely not safe for young children. Shower in the second “bathroom” did not drain and flooded the bedroom after only a min or so of running. Only cold water available in the second “bathroom” sink. Note: these amenity details were amended on the VRBO site AFTER our experience where the property was advertised with two full bathrooms. Management was completely unreasonable and unwilling to compensate for the almost full day of travel lost due to spending hours trying to get them to respond and then finding new accommodations. Would avoid working with Cocoonr Management company in the future. There is no communication bridge between VRBO and the management company so we were confused and surprised when we started getting demands for deposits and payments from a company we did not recognize. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

    We had some issues with the listing but after contacting the host they made arrangements for us to move to a different place as the ad on vrbo was not what it sais. All in all it was a great place
