This place was great to stay at over New Years. It was quiet, cozy and the hot tub made the evenings really nice with great views. We ran out of a few items and it would have been nice to have extras of (toilet paper, paper towels, no coffee available). But overall, this was a really nice place to be for the price! Definitely recommend staying here.
Fantastic property for my hiking trip to mount Elbert. This property is just a couple miles outside of Leadville so you get some privacy and nature around you with Stunning views of my Elbert & Mt Massive from the living room window. The hot tub is great (just check it each day to ensure it doesn’t turn off) and the kitchen and rest of the home have all the emenities you could need. I highly recommend this property.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house on the outskirts of Leadville (about 12 minutes from downtown). The location was spectacular: our bedroom and the adjoining deck overlooked a valley with the two tallest mountains in Colorado in the distance. The size of the house worked well for our group of four adults and three children ages 11 to 14. The hot tub was also a plus. My comment about the listing Is that I did not see any mention of the fact that there is a downstairs area in the house, which is rented separately. While it did not change our experience, I do think that this information should be disclosed to prospective renters.
Beautiful views, quiet area
The house is clean and tidy. Our family is enjoyed our time in the Rockies.
Gorgeous views from every window! Close to downtown fun and Ski Cooper:)
Between the gorgeous views and spacious living areas this was perfect for our family. We were skiing at Cooper so it was an easy drive. There were some initial issues with old information being sent by the 3rd party the owners use but once I was able to connect with them and the owners everything worked out just fine. There were different people living in the place below us (basement) so just keep that in mind - if you have children or loud walkers, you might need to quiet folks down to ensure the people below you aren’t bothered. Overall, great experience! Bonus - very well-stocked kitchen and large dining room table.
This place was nice and roomy and well-stocked. Was about 5-10 minutes outside of Leadville and up a bit of a switchback road. Not too challenging, but glad we had 4WD in the winter. About 25 minutes to get to Ski Cooper.
It’s an amazing property where the neighbors homes are not visible and 360° views! The hot tub was fantastic and huge. It was well furnished and the beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of pillows and cooking supplies. It stayed nice and cool all day and ceiling fans throughout. Both decks had amazing views and being able to park in the garage was an added bonus The bathrooms were nice and one was extremely large with a double sink and huge counter. Kitchen was in great shape. The living room space was huge and amazing views out the 4x wide window Being only five minutes from town was perfect and you could only hear a few trucks now and then from the highway which was just about completely hidden from sight because of the hill you’re on. The only things I change is increased ventilation in the kitchen dining room area with kitchen window screens and the deck door from the master bedroom is falling apart and very noisy to open.
Renting was a breeze. Instructions were very clear. We did have issues with getting hot water in the hall bathroom tub. Someone had left trash (beer cans) around hot tub that we had to pick up.
