Roberta’s Place, Sanctuary in the Pines

Awesome place

Roberta’s place was sparkling clean upon our arrival. It is tastefully decorated, comfortable, quiet, and private. The location is perfect for visiting the sights of northern AZ, and close to groceries, restaurants and shopping. Our host was responsive and helpful. I would say it was probably my favorite VRBO experience.

Comfortable, well laid out, thoughtfully appointed. Friendly host. Perfect in every way. The only thing I missed is my portable shower head and a kitchen stool.

Roberta’s Place ia a wonderful and convenient place to stay while in Flagstaf.

Overall, the unit was pretty good--it was very clean, the kitchen has everything to make meals, and the living room has plenty of comfortable seating. What we didn't like: the bed wasn't very comfortable--my wife was so uncomfortable that she ended up in the sofa bed both nights. So, except for the bed, we highly recommend this place.

The hosts went out of the way to install a new water heater on a Sunday and assist us with the Amazon TV remote. They also made excellent dining suggestions.

Once inside, the unit was decorated with detail. Gaby’s communication was exceptional! Location was close to some great hikes and only an hour 30 minute drive the the Grand Canyon south rim.

Nice and clean place. Hosts left skittles as welcoming gift and nice set of directions of expectations. Travel crib in bedroon closet on top shelf if you need one. Boosterchair on stool, serves as the high chair. Our child is actually 2 and a half. Most of activities geared to slighly older children, in drawer of coffee table, found by inquisitive 2 year old.

Roberta’s place was an amazing getaway! The cleanliness was great and the hosts are amazing and want to do everything to make sure your stay is nothing short of amazing! The story behind this place is heartfelt and you can tell that the family wants to carry on her memory! We will be back!

This was homemade while we visited the observatory, arboretum, Snowbowl, scenic drives, shopping venues and more. Had lots of fun during an escape from desert heat.

This was our second stay and we enjoyed the home as much as the first. Beautiful living and kitchen space. Thank you for updating the mattress. It was amazing and we will definitely be back again!

Cozy and relaxing

Get away for 40th wedding anniversary. Want to visit a couple bucket list places.

Highly recommend. Close to beautiful neighborhood and elden mountain. Great hikes and food. More than expected!!!!

Lovely property and very welcoming host. Everything was very clean and comfortable including an easy to use washer and dryer. Location in Flagstaff was perfect for visiting the surrounding sites. We loved the delicious recommendation for pizza!

We stayed two nights. The host was very communicative and even offered up their family washer since the unit washer was needing service. We were especially grateful as we had been traveling and staying in hotels for several days and desperately needed a wash day. : )

It's well furnished and has plenty of little extras to make you comfortable. The check in was easy and host is super helpful. Would definitely stay again next time we're in town.
