Riverfront Merritt Island Bungalow w/ Dock & Deck

Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations! The property was beautiful. The studio was right above the water, giving us unrestricted views of the river. There was an amazing pond with an extra large gazebo that we could use to relax. The studio was well equipped for all of our needs. We could not ask for anything more! We can’t wait to come back and hope to make the next trip longer so we can enjoy more of this beautiful property. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Very peaceful and serene. The dock was our favorite. Saw dolphins and many stingrays right from the dock. Wonderful place to escape for a quiet and peaceful weekend!

This was our second stay on the property and was fantastic as always. Secluded, beautiful, peaceful. We will be back!

We stayed for a week and had the most wonderful time. The house is a secluded gem, away from all the rush. Nothing to complain about and we would definitely come again.

I stayed here for a week in January, on a trip for sun and birding, and I know the general area well. This is a very special property, secluded, quiet, and right on, and a little over, the river. Everything was spotless, and a wonderful mixture of rustic and refined. The property itself and the shared facilities, the tiki huts, and the dock all were lovely. Dolphins swam so close that often the first notice of them was the sound of their exhalations, and sunsets over the river were not to be missed.

This place was amazing. The property had so much character with pond and gazebo and an island in the pond. There were hammocks in both structures at the pond. There are 3 rentals at this property and we took the one right on the water. The dock was such a beautiful place to sit and watch the sunset. Within the first 20 minutes of standing on the dock we saw dolphins 10 feet from us! They swam right under our feet as we stood in the center of the dock walkway. We saw many while staying here. There were many types of birds around to watch. My next comments are NOT to be taken as complaints. I share only so future renters know what to expect. We chose the cottage on the water for its location. However, I will assume it's the oldest on the property. It is not neglected at all. However, it is very small so there really is no way to unpack and have your items in convenient places. There is a closet but it doesn't hold much. The bathroom is very nicely done but very small. There is no counter space for toiletries to be stored and accessed conveniently. There are not many outlets so you're jockeying things around the kitchen. For example you can't use the coffee pot, toaster and microwave at the same time. That said, it's vacation and perhaps you're not planning on cooking. The appliances are all nice (Cuisinart dual coffee pot) and new. Refrigerator is large and clean. They leave a few items like tea bags and K cups for you. Most kitchen items were there. The only thing we needed and didn't find was a pitcher to make iced tea. There was a large dispenser that way too large for the refrigerator without taking out a shelf. We used the kitchen heavily as we really wanted to stay at the property and just enjoy the space. Finally the bed, because of space, is pushed up against the wall which is a bit inconvenient as sometime has to crawl over the other to get out of you don't get out at the same time. Also, the air conditioner unit is right over the bed so if you get cold easily, being an extra blanket. However the bed was super comfortable. Again, even though it sounds like I am complaining, I am not. I would go back in a heartbeat. I just think giving information helps others to be prepared and know what to expect.

I wish I had more days there. It was quiet and gorgeous. Close to Coco Beach. Everything was very good. My only suggestion would be to add another light in the home. It is very hard to see in dark hours if you need to pack or such. Home was equipped to prepare all meals if desired. Will definitely be looking for a return visit!

I absolutely loved this property! It was so perfect just to relax and enjoy the sound of the water and birds outside. The inside was so clean and perfect for two people! Would definitely stay here again in the future!
