The unit had no air conditioning during a heatwave. A fan helped, but not to my satisfaction. Otherwise it might have been very pleasant.

Things were didn’t love: There was some confusion in the communication from the property owners that led us feeling a little unsure of whether or not this was a legitimate listing, but they solved it quickly and clarified for us. There’s no air conditioning and there are tons of mosquitoes in the area, so if you like fresh air, this is not the place for you. There was so little ventilation that there was black mold growing on the bathroom wall, and our towels didn’t dry the entire time we were there. This is a serious health hazard and given that we both suffer with asthma, had we seen this in any of the reviews, we definitely would’ve chosen another place to stay. They also only provide two full-size towels so we had damp towels the whole time instead of being able to use new dry ones. The apartment is incredibly dark, but they have good light fixtures all over the space. If you like/need natural light though, this is not the place for you. There’s a nightclub right next door that was not mentioned in any reviews or in the listing, and people leaving at 2-3 am we’re incredibly loud every night. Things we loved: the space is absolutely beautiful, the bed was comfortable, the host gave us a bottle of wine and cookies on arrival, and they allowed for a late checkout.

This was a great property in a perfect location. The two women that manage the property were so helpful and responsive to anything that we needed. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. We would highly recommend staying here!

We had the perfect location. Minutes away from the main attractions. Only wished we would have had air conditioning.

This property is an absolute gem! Perfectly situated near the Ponte Vecchio with easy access to both “sides” of Florence. The apartment is lovely with a living room, kitchen, dining space and dedicated sleeping area. It was wonderful to be able to do laundry (in unit) after a week of travel. The property owners were super accommodating and very responsive when we reached out. They also provided great local recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend you check out this property!

Wonderful VRBO with exceptional check in and check out. Place was decorated to the 9s plus in very convenient location for walking Florence. Only thing I would want to change was to add microwave for reheating leftovers and/or coffee after it grows cold. Thanks again Isabella and Cecilia

Apt is exactly as pictured. Clean and in a great location. No natural sunlight and French terrace opens up into a vestibule that houses pigeons so door can not stay open. Overall, the location is great for a few days.

Check in was great, the host met us and showed us how to work everything. They have a big book if you forget (but instructions for the washing machine were for a different model). Perfect location. A couple of off-putting cleanliness issues: carpet under the table had nail clippings on it and fuzz and there appeared to be red wine stains on a couple towels. (We sent a pic to host as didn’t want to be blamed. She didn’t respond) Host left us a bottle of wine, nice touch. There’s no A/C but two fans that kept us comfortable. Check out was inconvenient. Had to give a time for the host to come back. Gave a time yet a half hour before it, their cleaning person was trying to bust the door down to get in. Not sure why we couldn’t have just left the keys and went on our way. We were ready a bit earlier but were at the mercy of waiting for our host. Overall, location the other issues so I would recommend it for that reason alone.

The location of this apartment is fantastic. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk to many of the sights we wanted to see and wandering the neighborhood at any time to enjoy the Florence culture. Isabella and Cecilia provided very good resources and we enjoyed many of them. Thanks for a memorable vacation. I would love to stay here again.

The property was clean and the location was reasonable. Our problem started several hours after check in when the toiliet would not flush. The host was contacted, but did not reply until nine hours later. We were told a plumber would come, but one never showed up. We were not able to live with the rancid odor so we moved to a hotel. The host stated we would recive a refund, but then reversed that saying she was able to flush the toilet. This is absolutely not true in that we tried numerous times with a variety of combinations to flush the toilet, all of which were unsuccessful.
