Kenyan Furnished Rentals (KFR) is an intentionally small, owner-operated provider of restorative extended-stay housing serving Denver Metro Colorado.
Our furnished 30+ night residences are designed primarily for patients in medical transition, caregivers, clinical professionals, and carefully screened quiet relocators or professionals seeking a stable, lower-density, smoke-free residential environment during extended stays.

IMPORTANT COMMUNITY STANDARDS
• 100% smoke-free property (including marijuana, vaping, and all smoking products/paraphernalia)
• No parties, events, loud gatherings, or unverified overnight guests
• Low-stimulus residential environment designed for extended-stay living
• Animals must be travel-compatible and may not be left unattended for extended periods causing noise disruption
• 30+ night minimum stays only

VERIFICATION & BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
To help preserve a stable restorative environment for all residents:
• Identity verification is required for all adult occupants
• Structured intake and signed residency agreements are required prior to confirmation
• Additional verification steps and/or traveler’s insurance may be required depending on booking channel, profile history, and stay structure

Medical-transition housing needs move quickly. To preserve availability for medically aligned placements, all inquiries must be finalized promptly. We do not hold dates pending incomplete screening or delayed communication. Verification of medical travel or clinical assignment may be required prior to approval.

Suite 35B is a garden-level residence within a small restorative housing community in Lakewood, Colorado. The suite offers a grounded, cool, and quiet environment designed for extended medical stays requiring practical comfort, routine, and residential stability.
The environment is intentionally structured to support longer stays focused on recovery, caregiving, or medically aligned work assignments rather than high-turnover travel activity.
Guests may be asked to confirm a medical or treatment-related travel purpose prior to reservation approval.

The naturally cooler lower-level positioning provides a calm residential setting well-suited for guests seeking quiet decompression after treatment days, hospital shifts, or caregiving responsibilities.
⚠️ Note: Suite 35B is accessed by stairs and may not be suitable for patients with significant mobility challenges or minor children.

Our décor features authentic Kenyan art and warm earth tones, intentionally chosen to create a calm, grounded environment during extended stays. Rooted in Kenya, where our founder was born, this is not a theme — it’s a design approach that prioritizes warmth, stability, and a lived-in feel over neutral, impersonal spaces.

Subtle details, including a small Kenyan flag within each space, reinforce this foundation.

Functional Medical Comfort
• Bathroom & Hygiene Support: The walk-in stall shower provides easy entry/exit, reducing strain and fall risk for patients with fatigue or balance challenges. A shower chair and non-slip mats are available upon request to ensure dignity and safety.
• Clinical Rest Design: Bedrooms feature blackout curtains and white noise machines to support restorative sleep for patients and night-shift clinicians.
• Pet-Friendly Flexibility: Welcoming up to 2 dogs or cats — recognizing the emotional stability companion animals provide during medical transitions.
• Central HVAC: Steady, whole-home climate control reduces patient fatigue and supports recovery.
• In-Unit Laundry: Private washer/dryer exclusive to this unit to reduce infection risk and maintain independence.
• Full Kitchen: Fully equipped for healing, home-cooked meals.
Healing Outdoor Spaces & Pets
• Fenced Yard: A large, secure yard allows patients and their dogs to safely enjoy fresh air and sunshine, contributing to emotional recovery.
• Pet-Friendly Policy: Suite 35B welcomes up to 2 dogs or cats. $100/month per pet + $250 refundable deposit. Crates and cleanup tools are provided.

30+ Night Residency Requirement
Minimum stay: 30 consecutive nights. Short stays, graduation groups, parties, and vacation use are not permitted. This requirement protects environmental consistency and stability for all medical residents.

To protect guests navigating medical stress, we enforce a zero-tolerance policy:
• No smoking | No vaping | No exterior smoking.
Violation results in immediate termination. This suite is also kept pet-free to maintain allergen sensitivity standards.

Professional Management & Integrity
This residence is directly managed by Kenyan Furnished Rentals LLC using secure, platform-connected software to ensure controlled placement and verified medical residency standards.
Protection & Booking Requirements:
To finalize your stay, the following are required within 24 hours of booking.
• Signed Residency Agreement.
• Traveler’s Insurance: Required
• Government-issued ID for all adult residents [via email]
• Accidental Damage Protection: $65 (non-refundable, per month - already included in the monthly pricing)
• Incidental Hold: $500 standard ($750 with pets) – authorization only
A secure link for the Agreement and Hold will be provided once payment is confirmed. Access is not granted until all requirements are completed.

    The description and information were accurate. There were extra items provided like laundry detergent coffee and other items that made the stay very user friendly. The location allowed us to many different vacation venues with ease. Lots of nearby restaurants which offered the option to eat out or to cook onsite. Anna checked in several times to make sure things were going smoothly. We enjoyed the outdoor space very much.

    I enjoyed my stay, especially taking outdoor breaks in the backyard while working remotely. The sun felt good on my skin and the air was fresh. The birds chirping, squirls collecting their nuts, butterflies, and dragonflies around completed the peaceful feeling. The basement apartment was cool in the summer heat. I recommend Anna's conveniently located quiet place in a Cul de sac.
