Remarkables Retreat 10 Lake Views & Balcony

Nothing beats the 'Remarkable' view that opens up as you enter the top floor of this unit. Very relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch life on the lake and enjoy the serenity of the area. Very clean and well presented despite the very basic furnishings and kitchen inclusions - some updating required, especially on the damaged lounges and weathered outdoor furniture. Our family LOVED our stay at Remarkables Retreat 10, especially the amazing lake and mountain views.

The property worked well for our family made up of three couples. It was nice to have a place to lounge, a decent kitchen, washer & electric dryer, and a balcony with a beautiful view of the lake. As others have noted, figuring out the first time around how to turn in, and how to park is challenging. The garage is definitely for a small sedan car. But the space just outside the garage handled our minivan well, and it was good to be able to park 2 cars. The space worked well for driving further into Queenstown City Center for tourist activities, and access to the airport for flights, etc. There is a bus stop right above the unit on the Frankton Road, but we never used it. I took full advantage of the jacuzi in the master bathroom as I had a pulled muscle. That was a definite plus as well. Everything worked and space was well laid out for privacy as well as gathering. It is a 3-story dwelling, so anyone using the space needs to be capable of climbing stairs. We had good & responsive communication with the manager, from beginning to end which was helpful. Overall a great experience.

Tight access to parking was only issue not stated when looking at property online but not the end of the world. The house and layout were great. Took an hour to walk into town. Would like a coffee/cafe a bit closer to walk to each morning. Saying that in and out of town in 10 minutes in the car was easy. Off main road so no traffic noise. Best noise I heard in the morning were the cows on the other side of the lake. Recommend property to anyone.

Absolute stunning views and location. Nice clean rooms. Electric blanket in bottom room single bed didn’t work. Garage and front entry dirty with leaves. Rubbish disposal wasn’t easy considering we stayed for 9days. Handyman came to do some work and left the dryer there the whole stay.. Friends stayed up the road and had a lot more interaction with their property manager,eg he checked in on them numerous times to make sure everything was up to par. Wine and chocolates on arrival. Messaged them on things to see and do in the local area. Overall ours is in a gorgeous location, clean and served its purpose.

Very comfortable and cozy accommodation. The views from all areas was stunning. The whole process was very easy from booking and access to property. Property was very clean.

Property has stunning views of Lake Wakatipu. Convenient location. Property was great - spacious, clean, comfortable. Check in and out were easy. Property Management was available however we did not need to contact during our stay as there were no issues. Everything was well maintained. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this location and property. Thank you!!
